It really works!
RelaxMe is an amazing calmer that really works. I have used it on two horses to take the edge off in defferent ways and got good results both times. It was first recommended when I wanted something for my very sparky young horse. I needed something just to help her calm down and concentrate. We bought it but having actually had adverse results with another calmer weren't sure weather to use it before a stay away show. When we arrived the night before competitions started she was so hyper bucking and snorking round the warm up I wasn't sure how I was going to get her calm enough to jump the next morning so we tried it on the loading dose in her feed that night and the next morning. When I got on it was like riding a different horse. She was calm and collected in the warm up and went straight in to win the class. I kept up the loading dose for the remainder of the show then reduced it when we got back home. It does say on the instructions but the loading is key. I do up the dose a bit before a show but if she is having a break I will take her off completely. I have also used RelaxMe on a quirky mare who worries a lot and can get quite stressed. It worked great on her too so I would definitely try this product with any horse which needs a calmer. Not every calmer will work for every horse but I definitely recommend this one. If you are unsure there is a 750g version which is an ideal starter.

I have a very scatty thoroughbred that uses any excuse to cause mayhem!! I have used this product throughout the summer and he has been relatively calmer all round and deals with situations better than he would've normally have done, obviously with the odd exception. For example I was able to cut his mane the other day within 10 minutes and he stood very nicely, whereas previously over the years where I have tried, he would try to pull back and rear. I have never reduced him down to the minimum 1 scoop, he is still on 2 scoops a day however. I am hoping this product will keep him just as calm through the winter.

Bitter and so not palatable for my pony
I have tried to add just one scoop/meal (morning and evening) and it was no go - my mare, normally eating her meals like a hungry beast, refused to touch the food; I have tried for four days in a row...then I reduced the dose to 1/3 scoop per meal to adapt her to the taste...she was leaving most of her food and was getting very agitated. So I have tried to add this product to finely chopped carrots and apples ...which she loves. Well she sniffed and did not touched it. All in all no go for my mare. By the way, I have tasted this powder myself - it is very very bitter so I am not that surprised that she does not want to eat it.

Calmer for my horse
I have used this calmer before when my horse was ill and stabled for many months and his temperament was very good for the whole of this period, so I am putting it down to this calmer. I stopped using it when he was better, but have gone back onto it again as he is very spooked at the moment out hacking, I have not been using it for a month yet so the jury is still out, I believe it needs to build up in horses system for at least a month plus, but general opinion is that is it very good. I have tried others with no success.

Maybe it worked and maybe it didn't. Either way it didn't make her worse and was worth a shot
Maybe it worked and maybe it didn't. Either way it didn't make her worse and was worth a shot. I made the classic mistake of changing her food and work at the same time as introducing this so I don't know how much effect it had but she markably improved in her attitude so i'd certainly try it again with another horses if need be.
