I purchased this to shoot primer and it seems to be a very good quality and a great value. I ran primer through it with the 2.O tip and and although the primer says not to reduce any, it would not spray very effectively from the gun when it was thick. I reduced it a little bit about seven parts primer to one part reducer, and it’s sprayed a lot better. The gun worked flawlessly. for the price I don’t think you can go wrong with this gun.

It already came set up with a bunch of nice accessories. The size is pretty good, but the cup is a little small. My only problems are that the instructions aren't helpful, and the gauge didn't work so well. I had to use a different one and it worked really well. It was powerful and could be adjusted very nicely! It seems pretty durable and the spray pattern was perfect for the first time! I highly recommend this for people who are on a tight budget!

Like the old saying, you get what you pay for. Which can be good and bad. The good: Comes with several tips for different applications. Although I only used the 2.0 tip to spray some Krylon acrylic latex paint (black). I had thinned it out previously, and I think without thinning it the spray gun would have really struggled. It takes a minute to get the settings dialed in, but once it is dialed in then it does an alright job. Keep in mind you are not buying a top of the line spray gun. I only bought this gun to paint some wall panels that have grooves in them. Rolling paint on was a nightmare with those grooves. I have only painted three 4x8 panels. About 1/2 way through the third panel the gun did actually stop working. I am still uncertain as to why, possibly clogged up with paint. I took the gun apart and cleaned it, but have not used it since cleaning. The bad: The factory installed tip was screwed in really tight. I went in knowing this from reading other reviews. All I had to do was put the gun in a vice, put my heat gun on it for roughly 30-45 seconds, and then use the supplied tool to unscrew the tip. I also found that while using the gun you had to keep adjusting the settings on it. But like I had mentioned before, if you know where your settings are set then you can just go back to them to keep it dialed in. Cleaning the gun would have been easier if it had come with some of those small bottle type brushes (which you can easily find). It does come with a small toothbrush that gets the gun somewhat clean. Overall I am pleased with this purchase. Just as long as when I go to use it again it works. Keep it clean every single time you are done using it, just like any other paint sprayer.

Good quality for small money. My husband painted a trailer with this, this great one has done its job and is waiting for the next job.

I am very pleased with this inexpensive gun. I had to paint some very expensive paint (Renner primer and 851 with catalyst). It was my first time using this product and I was pretty nervous. I didn't want to use an airless since so much is wasted in the line, so I thought I would try this gun. I had to thin the primer w/10% water and 5% for the color and it worked great. 30psi, 2.0 tip, and adjust fan and feed.

The extra spray tips are nice to have and the spray pattern is good - BUT - there is no ‘packing nut’ to adjust on the gun which means that the paint can flow past the ‘needle’ and it drips out of the gun onto the trigger. The parts diagram shows a ‘nut’ inside and behind the spray head which would be the way to adjust the packing but mine did not have any nut, so there is no way to adjust it. Very messy especially when spraying thinner materials. I would NOT but this spray gun again.

This gun shoots like a high end gun,I will be buying more to have for clear,base,etc. Definitely better then the harbor freight hvlp guns and I liked them. It was nice having all the tips, I was able to use the 2.0 for thinned raptor liner,went on just like base coat,then swap to the smaller tip for clear clear. Doin this black truck i was scared of imperfections but it killed it.
