Great quality and look awesome. Perfect fit and comfortable.
These are very comfortable and very stylish looking boots. They are light weight and made of real leather, and the leather looks very high quality. They have excellent traction on the bottom so they can be used for hiking, working, or dressy casual wear. I wear them when we go out to eat because they look so nice. They have a padded collar around the ankle for extra comfort. I didn't need to break them in or add insoles; they are just super comfortable right out of the box. They fit true to size, which is great because I usually have a problem with boots being too narrow in the toes, but these fit perfectly. I love them. I just conditioned mine with BICK 4 leather conditioner and they look like new again after many months of wearing them. The leather conditioner makes any scuff marks dissappear and keeps them from cracking. Leather must be conditioned or it will crack and fade. These are boots that are made to last! I highly recommend them.

Timberland Men’s Flume Mid Waterproof Hiking Boot Review
Timberland Men’s Flume Mid Waterproof Hiking Boot Review The Timberland Flume Mid hits a sweet spot between traditional hiking support and everyday wearability. Made with **premium full-grain waterproof leather** and a **seam-sealed construction**, it keeps feet dry through rain, slush, and shallow snow without feeling overly stiff. The **compression-molded EVA midsole and footbed** offer excellent shock absorption and comfort right out of the box, with almost no break-in period. These boots have a **solid rubber lug outsole** that grips well on both rocky trails and wet pavement. The **gusseted tongue** keeps out dirt and debris — a small but important detail for comfort during long hikes. Weight is moderate; lighter than heavy-duty work boots but still substantial enough for good ankle stability. Fit runs **true to size** with normal or wide options that accommodate thick socks easily. The dark brown full-grain finish looks rugged but polished enough to double as a casual winter boot. Durability and waterproofing both live up to Timberland’s reputation, and the included 12-month warranty adds peace of mind. Bottom line: A well-crafted, waterproof leather hiker that balances durability, comfort, and style. Ideal for light to moderate trails, travel, or cold-weather daily wear — a reliable Timberland classic worth its price.

Classic and comfortable
Classic. Very comfortable with my inserts. Without inserts a bit roomy in toe box, not an issue for me though. Can wear with anything!!

Good Enough
I bought these in the matte waterproof finish (newer make) and they seem to do the job; conventional finish would have cost $20 more. There seems to be a very slight bulge in the sole of the left one, but it may be going away with use. Medium weight, at least as comfortable as old Tims. Can't vouch for protective features, but quality is good enough at this price.

Timberland makes great hiking boots
Went back to timberland hiking boots after many years of another brand. Happy I did. Comfortable hiking boots. The only negative is the stiff show laces that easily come untied

sturdy, comfortable, and look great
My son has worn these almost every day (he's a college student so LOTS of walking around campus). They've kept his feet dry and warm in snow and rain. They look great and are very solid hiking boots that will hold up to a lot of use. They didn't need a break-in period and were comfortable right out of the box. They were true to size give good foot and ankle support.
