The adjustable straps allow for making them as secure as you need around the foot. There's sufficient strapping to attach to the foot while still allowing your foot to breathe and receive plenty of airflow. The sandals are also light on the feet and provide great traction across different walking surfaces. Overall I'm very pleased with these and recommend them to anyone who is looking for a sandal that provides and arch support.
