I don’t get the negative reviews on this. It’s $10, of course it’s not going to be thick material. I think it’s perfect for the purpose. We are transitioning our babies out of swaddles so this band is just there for a slightly more snug fit. I like that the material is breathable. Handle it with care and it will last. My boy is 5 months and we had to size him up to a medium because his arms were too long for the small size. The band helps prevent the zipadeezip sack from bunching the material around his face and neck. Hoping to stop using this soon but for us, it worked great!

Keeps transition swaddle from bunching up at baby’s chin and face. It’s not supposed to get too tight as you are wrapping a baby not your waist.

Update: The velcro is fading fast and the strap has even fallen off my baby a few times...I doubt this lasts much longer. I'm not sure this is even worth $5. Was excited about this because it was cheap and just what I needed. I had contacted this company with my first kid about how their zippadee zip would come over his face and it concerned me. I ended up using a hair tie then so was excited to try this now. The pro - it seems to do what it's intended well enough and is thin so I don't think baby is uncomfortable laying on it. Cons: the velcro is already starting to not stick and I've had it maybe a week. Also the trim is starting to almost warp and pull weird. He is almost 5 months old and it says not intended for 6 months+ so hopefully it will last me at least another month but if I was going to have more kids this would definitely not last...but I guess it is only $5.

This was our first time ordering the SleepingBaby Zipadee-Zip Transition Swaddle, and SleepingBaby Snuggle Strap. I chose this swaddle because of the snuggle strap option, I thought my son would sleep better with it as he’s had a tough time transitioning. Night 1 and he has done better than expected with it. I would say my only complaint is that the snuggle strap arrived with a small stain of some sort on it already, I just didn’t have time to return it.

My son is 5 months old and doesn’t fit the transition swaddles anymore because of how long he is. This works perfect for him. I can now just put him in his sleep blanket with this over top and he sleeps so soundly with it on. Highly recommend if your baby is still transitioning from the swaddle to a sleep blanket
