Great pump
Its smaller than expected but works great. It is very quiet when the pump is in use and easy to set up. Ive worked out that it pumps 250ml for 30s so 600ml for 60s. The max flow time is 99s and that can deliver 850ml (all without filter). So the max you can water is 850ml every hour which is plenty. I havent used this with the batterys so i cant comment on how well or how long they last... if the unit can last me 12 months ill be happy but i cant comment on how reliable it is as of yet. I would buy again

Beware of elevation differences (oh, ad longevity)
Update: first use this year two pumps just stopped pulling water, even removing the filter (the water is straight from the tap) didn't help. Seems to be a start-up problem only, if you force a little water to flow up towards the pump, they both started again. Took a few trials to get them back, but worked. Not sure if the little black rubber covers should be put back on the in/out-lets when storing, I'll try that. -- Original review: -- The pump works fine in the ideal set-up, it's simple enough to program and has redundancy in power through both USB and batteries. Regarding the picture near the top of the page showing it watering plants in a multi-level shelving system (similar comments applies to the one in the main description section), I would *love* to know how they get that to work. When the pump stops, water will run towards the lowest point it can get to ("Natures law, Daniel-san, not mine") and if that is a solitary plant outlet, said plant will get all the run-back from the other drippers. I suspect it might also be able to siphon the water from the reservoir through the pump since it seems to be below the reservoir water level, but I haven't personally experienced that. So when you set up plants for watering, make sure that all plants are level and the reservoir is below them. Run a few test-runs pumping into cups to see how much each dripper supplies (you should probably target a bit more than you would expect to account for resistance added by soil). There are pumps that have individual hoses for each dripper, which are simpler in that respect -- do yourself a favour and set it up a few weeks before you need it for calibration. Once properly calibrated, it works just fine.

Works great, best used with external power.
Works great but batteries do not last long. I recommend you power it from a 5 volt mobile phone charger that can supply at least 1 amp. As it says it is drip watering so ideal for small pot plants or to keep your larger tubs watered during the day in very hot weather. Larger plants will still need to be manually watered. Gets it's water feed from a water butt or large bucket. It is not fed from the water supply to the house. If you want to use it in a greenhouse some sort of external solar charged battery pack may be better such as a power bank than using regular batteries.

Good system but issues with batteries & setting up
I bought this system for my greenhouse, firstly claims it is an easy 15 minute set-up is wide of the mark, yes to actually run the tubing etc is simple, the actual set-up of the timer is quite hit & miss I've had the unit a month now & I'm still adjusting the settings, one tip for this is to initially run the drippers into a bowl to gauge the rate you want. Admittedly the unit is for indoors & I am using mine in a greenhouse but it is difficult to view the digital display in any bright light. It does run on batteries (not provided), I tried this using good Duracels but they lasted 3 days at best, so now using a dedicated USB supply, as I wanted this for a greenhouse with no power I'm quite disappointed that I've had to resort to this, hence the 3 stars. To be fair to the unit, if it was to be used solely indoors with a convenient USB supply it would probably tick most boxes, whilst away on holiday it was quite good although still needing adjusting when I got home. One final tip, when joining the tubing & drippers it's best to use hot water on the tubing & vegetable oil on the dripper connection. Update: for the last week ive been using Amazon basic AA rechargeable batteries in place of the Duracell, still running fine.

Brilliant, and it lasts longer than expected
I bought this anticipating lots of travels in 2020, and here we are stuck at home due to coronavirus. Still, it's a good investment, my plants get watered without fail and they do grow a lot better now that they're watered regularly. I've had it for almost 3 months now, and it's still running on the first set of batteries (2 times per day, 2 minutes each time). Installation was pretty straightforward, the sparse instructions were enough.

On verra à l'usage si ça marche !
