A friend gave me a bunch off audio books on cassettes and I needed a player. Looked for used ones but people wanted a premium and I know these wear out over time. I was surprised to find they still produced them, and was a little skeptical that they wouldn’t eat the tapes. However, this one works great and seems sturdy. I’ve listened to a couple of books and so far no issues. We’ll see how it holds up over time, but so far it works great and was very will priced.
