Can you use this to make bread?

In my experience, this is a grain to be cooked and served as a side dish or as a basis for a main dish with additions. I supposed one might add a small bit of cooked freekeh to the conventional dough of a bread you're baking in order to add some texture, but as an inveterate bread baker, I don't see how one can use it as a main dough. But who knows, perhaps someone else has a different take on this.

How long does it take to cook and should I expect all the liquid to be absorbed?

You can sink it in water for half hour before u cook it , it will cook faster, it take about hour maybe

Add whole grains to every meal

Great and versatile whole grain that can be served like rice. I cooked mine in broth and seasonings, added veggies to the top, and drizzled a tahini sauce with falafel.

Sand in with the grains

I made this and the flavor seemed good, although there was a lot of sand in with the grains. It was impossible to get it out before cooking. I threw out the rest of the box. Would not buy again.
