How does this compare to a Theragun that's $400-600? I'm just starting to look into massage guns...what do you compromise for one that's cheaper?

I have the $600 Theragun and wanted to gift a percussion massager to friends and family but can't afford to give everyone the Theragun so I bought this and a couple others in a similar price point to try. There's not much of a comparison. The heads are softer and gentler on TG, whereas the $50-$80 ones only 1 or 2 heads are useful as the rest seem like torture devices. The TG often has less RPMs but far more force per pound (I've not seen any on Amazon provide a force per pound measurement). The TG comes with a very spongey, soft head for sensitive and fragile people, even the softest on this one is a bit hard. With the triangular handle it's much easier to treat your own hard to reach places, this one you'll need someone to help with your back. The TG has a backup battery so you don't have to wait for charging, giving a 300 hr battery life, or about a month. This one will last less than a week with modest daily use. Either device is going to provide relief but you get what you pay for. Does the difference feel like $500? No. However the TG feels like the only one I'll ever buy and this one feels like it'll need to be replaced in a couple years, which is probably why TG's warranty is lifetime and these have a warranty measured in 6 to 24 months.

I’ve charged it and it is still not coming on! What am I doing wrong? The light indicator on the charger was green & it says it’s at 99 power level

I just received mine and pulled it out of the box. It’s doing the same thing. The power light just keeps blinking, when it’s plugged in and when it’s not. It won’t do anything.

Is it gentle enough to use on your forehead or temple for pain relief?

No, I wouldn't use it on my forehead or temple.  Too "violent".

It’s very hard to change the pressure levels and then they just go up and down by themselves?

Not hard at all to adjust settings. It’s plus or minus on the controls and everything is push button.  
Honestly, I was Skeptical myself, but my wife and I enjoy it.  We both have different setting we like and it comes with a bunch of attachments and give detail instructions how to use each attachment
