I have been using this over my brand name department store moisturizer! Maybe I was buying the wrong type, but it said for combo/oily. This rice pulp controls my oil so much better! I feel moisturized, but not sticky. I keep using too much; like the same dollop I am used to with my other one. But it spreads really well and you don't need as much. The other benefits seem to work too. Nothing on my face has gone backwards from the job my brand name one was doing. Usually, when I try a sample moisturizer or a travel one, my skin quality starts to deteriorate. Not the case here! I've been using it for over a month. The price is great too.

Slight scent of rice. It doesn’t take much to use. To me it leaves a tacky filmy texture on my face even after drying/absorbing into skin. Skin does not have a natural glow shine to it, more of a dull matte. I applied to my hand to see if felt different and it didn’t. 24 months shelf life after opening. Price is fair for quality. It seems to melt finger tips when trying to scoop out of jar, maybe's a scoop/spoon made for cosmetic purposes should be used. I personally do not like the cream and will continue to use my tallow products.
