Came broken and spilled out on first use. Not eligible to return!?!

This is a good idea in theory; however, the plastic grinder cap is junk.We have two of these; one is pepper, the other is salt.We had been using the salt for a couple weeks; and, tonight, I had my piping hot plate loaded with turkey/dressing/mashed-potatoes.I turned the salt upside-down over my plate, started to give the grinder a turn, and the plastic grinder came apart, dumping the half-full bottle of sea salt rocks into my meal, and all over the counter-top and floor.I was not happy.I would have been irate had it ruined a good Cracker Barrel meal.
