This is a really excellent 5g router. It is very easy to use, the wifi speeds are very fast indeed and it’s coverage is great. It’s has much faster download speeds than the FTTC fibre broadband it has replaced. I highly recommend this router.

Fantastic affordable 5G router. Works great with a three pay as you go sim perfectly. It's a nice looking device too, routers are often pretty ugly things. It was easy to setup, and has straight forward settings in a clear menu when accessed via the typical default address.

Router is really good but subscriptions for cloud service was not ideal for me.

Please be aware this is NOT the Nebula FWA505. It’s actually a NR5103EV2 running alternative firmware, you won’t be able to add this to Nebula nor Zyxel Air. I confirmed this by speaking to Zyxel directly. This unit has been modified to run FWA505 firmware in a NR5103EV2 unit. Unit itself is a decent unit, picked up 5G on EE straight away and was quick for browsing etc. Signal strength on its internal antenna was just as expected and matched my phones own signal. Set up was easy using the wizard but you can do more in-depth setup in the web GUI. Biggest advantage is it automatically picked up the APN settings. Other units I’ve had, have always had to manually have the EE APN added manually. The item arrived marked on three sides and in just bubble wrap and a grey courier bag. No box! But was described as “used - like new” - for the money I paid, I expected better from the description given. This definitely isn’t “like new” at all.

Very happy with the performance achieved with this Zyxel FWA505, the user interface can be reached with 192.168.1.1, the user interface has lots of features, allow dual band, allow guest network. so much, I have used, ZTE 5G routers but this one has so much features, I will now only use ZYXEL, forget about DECO 5G (each is rubbish and very limited) if you want top 5G router go for ZYXEL you will not forget, it took me multiple attempts with different brands, but this one has everything needed to obtain the best signal either indoor router or the outdoor if u which the top of the top.

Good price and reliable

Amazingly fast 5g connection. I get near to 200mbps on EE with it. Easy to manage with the web portal nebula. Its built well and looks good. The options available for configuration are all you would expect and more. Very happy with this router, its now running my whole house at a faster speed and far cheaper than my old fixed broadband line.

L’aggancio al segnale è rapido e stabile: le antenne hanno un buon guadagno e riescono a mantenere velocità elevate senza oscillazioni marcate. Molto utile la funzione di band lock, che consente di escludere bande meno performanti e concentrarsi su quelle che garantiscono la massima velocità. Dal punto di vista software, l’interfaccia è decisamente completa: non solo le classiche impostazioni di rete, ma una gestione granulare che lascia spazio anche agli utenti più esigenti. La parte Nebula (con un anno di abbonamento incluso) aggiunge un plus importante: poter controllare e configurare il router da remoto è una comodità notevole, soprattutto se lo si usa in contesti professionali o per più sedi. La copertura WiFi 6 AX1800 è adeguata per ambienti di medie dimensioni e supporta senza problemi decine di dispositivi connessi contemporaneamente (testato con oltre 20 tra smartphone, tablet e PC). Inoltre, grazie alla connessione 5G, satura senza difficoltà la porta LAN Gigabit, offrendo il massimo della velocità cablata disponibile. In sintesi: un dispositivo solido, versatile e orientato a chi vuole sfruttare appieno la rete 5G con strumenti di gestione avanzata.

Ich nutze den Zyxel 5G NR Router seit einigen Tagen intensiv – und bin wirklich rundum zufrieden. Der WLAN-Empfang ist stark, stabil und deckt auch größere Räume problemlos ab. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die Zuverlässigkeit im 5G-Betrieb – selbst bei Videocalls, Streaming und Online-Gaming läuft alles butterweich, ohne Aussetzer oder Schwankungen. Die Einrichtung war einfach, das Webinterface ist klar strukturiert und der Router läuft seit dem ersten Tag durchgehend ohne Probleme. Auch bei höheren Temperaturen (z. B. hinter Glas) keinerlei Verbindungsabbrüche. Wer nach einer leistungsstarken DSL-Alternative oder einem mobilen Setup mit echter 5G-Power sucht, macht mit diesem Gerät absolut nichts falsch.
