From the first page to the last I loved it all, so much so I have also bought the paper back edition too. Its written in a supportive way and really explains why certain foods should be avoided and which foods heal. As someone that has done every diet going this book has gone a long way in really educating me about why I feel rubbish and how to sort it out. Its more than just diet and exercise advice though, it's about the whole way you live your life. I cannot recommend this book enough - whether you've just been diagnosed with PCOS or you've known about it forever like me. Review: 👍 - This is the most helpful book I’ve ever had ! An essential read
I initially bought the Kindle edition so I would have this book instantly. From the first page to the last I loved it all, so much so I have also bought the paper back edition too. Its written in a supportive way and really explains why certain foods should be avoided and which foods heal. As someone that has done every diet going this book has gone a long way in really educating me about why I feel rubbish and how to sort it out. Its more than just diet and exercise advice though, it's about the whole way you live your life. I cannot recommend this book enough - whether you've just been diagnosed with PCOS or you've known about it forever like me.

I don't know how to rate this book, it had no new information whatsoever, if u looking for motivation to start eating healthier etc. so yes it's for you, but if u want to get more info about pcos new research or smth like that so it's not there. Although, I have read so much about pcos already in different books it probably felt too repetitive. I already eat healthy and workout and I'm still not better, iv starter wild yam cream so far so good, had my period this month fingers crossed it will be the answer for me.

If you have PCOS, buy this book!!!
This book was a fantastic read. The information and knowledge provided by Amy was incredible and really made PCOS much easier to understand. Amy has some really effective tips on how to live with PCOS and heal some of the symptoms that come along with it. I marked it down 1 star as the meal plans were not effective for me and I haven't used them (I don't tend to follow meal plans) I really like all the recipe ideas though and I love all the things Amy wrote about to truly nourish our mind and body.

Nachdem ich Amy schon jahrelang auf ihrer HP verfolge, ksnnt ich schon einiges. Für alle Frauen welche gerade erst die Diagnose erhalten haben, oder von den Ärzten nur mit der Pille abgewunken werden, ist es eine Erleuchtung! Absolut zu empfehlen, gerade da PCOS hierzulande von den Ärzten nicht sehr ernst genommen wird. (Zumindest aus meiner eigenen Erfahrung)

Full disclosure: I have followed the website and discussion boards of the "PCOS Diva" for many years, and have done other programs of hers, but none with as much success and vigor as I've used this book, and I'm not one to give compliments and gratitude where none are due. Amy has written a book that anyone struggling with PCOS can find help in. It is well organized with a great index, which I've used extensively as I go back to find specific information. Her writing is clear, and her encouraging tone shines in every word. There is so much information contained within these pages--everything from supplements to help with inflammation to recipes, to what labs to ask your endo or gyn or family physician for. Amy lays out a clear, step-building 21-day plan to positively impact your life if you're struggling with PCOS symptoms. There is encouragement and guidance for beyond the 21 days, because learning to thrive with PCOS is a lifelong endeavor. If you follow her guidance, really work to change your mindset, you will notice amazing changes in those 21 days, and those changes will spur you to want to change your life forever. While I don't know if I lost weight, per se, (this is NOT a weight-loss book; weight might come off as you crowd out the processed foods with fresh whole foods, and add movement to your life), I do know that my physical and mental well-being have had drastic changes. My bloating is gone (hello again, wedding rings!), my sleep is better, my stress getting easier to manage. Invest in yourself, follow this plan for 21 days and more, and you won't regret it.

Amy Medling has written a beautiful book that not only outlines a 21 day plan to feeling good and turning PCOS symptoms around, but she also gives ideas and suggestions for living a lifestyle that will sustain this. I can attest that living a lifestyle with "food as medicine" can make a huge difference in helping to tame PCOS symptoms, shedding weight and increasing a positive outlook on life. I have been following Amy's PCOS Diva principles from her amazing website, pcosdiva.com, for the past 4 years and I have never felt better. Amy is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of PCOS and has been a huge resource for myself and so many others who have struggled with this syndrome. There is a way out of the despair and I would highly recommend "Healing PCOS." I found the book inspiring, (love all the testimonial success stories) and informative. Love the recipes in the book! One of my family's favorite is the White Chicken Chili and this is requested often. There is no depriving oneself of delicious foods with Amy's plan. Let Amy guide you on a journey to loving yourself enough to know you are worth every step it takes to feeling amazing with PCOS! Nicole M.

Finished this book today, so now I'm a PCOS Diva and I feel healthier than before, I feel good and I feel armed with knowledge to fight and heal my pcos. I feel positive, and empowered for the first time to make some more informed choices for my health. I felt that there was soooo much information in this book. I was using it like a bible while doing the 21 day program within it, to flip through and read up again on supplements and many different things. It felt like this was the routine I needed in my life right now, especially during covid and isolation so that has really helped me so much. I did feel a bit like there were a lot of things and steps to keep up with so I probably would like to go over and do it again to keep myself on track and pick things up more easily...I didnt use the recipes except one but followed the food reccomendations, shopping for pcos friendly foods, I cut gluten and dairy as well as bought supplements and teas and did the pcos diva essential oils short course and bought some oils, I also did dry body brushing. Because I started buying these things while going through the book and program I guess they would be more effective if I was to do it over again as I'd get more time to use them. I also incorporated the yoga, the walking and meditation but some days I didn't get all the diva do and daily tasks done with work etc so would love to go back again and do those :) After reading this book: Mentally: I feel strong Positive Empowered Educated Happy Self loved Enlightened Physically: improved hirsutism I lost 2kg Lost cms from my waist More energy Brighter eyes Nicer skin More flexible
