Hydrocolloid Wound Dressing 6"x6"-10 Pack/Box, Waterproof Adhesive Bordered Bandage, for Light Exudate, Abrasions, Pressure Ulcer, Bed Sore, Superficial Wound Care

I got very heavily involved with briars and blackberry canes. ripping these out back in May of 2025. Using gloved hands, I tore at these menacing things that insist on invading my blueberry patch. While I tore at them, they tore right back. Today January 3, 2026 I've "almost" removed all the thorns that pierced my tough hands. Literally hundreds of them. I've been to an outpatient clinic in June, only to be told there was nothing they could do for my ground beef looking hands. They gave me a shot of pain killer in my arm and sent me on my way. I've been using antibiotic jell and massive quantities of band aids, but each and every day my hands look as if I tried to catch a shotgun blast. TRYING EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING; I bought these not once but twice and also another pack of the 2" Hydrocolloids. WHAT A GREAT PRODUCT! After the first application, leaving these bandages in place for two days I was amazed at the quick healing action they provided. They are also THICK, think somewhere around a bicycle inner tube thick, not quite, but close. To say the least, the thorns still in my hands hurt like hell when they are bumped. These bandages, because they are thick and pliable, protects my wounds from that hurt. Some have complained about them not sticking. They stick very well to skin that is not in a location that flexes. Think a forearm. They have trouble adhering well to places like a wrist joint. To combat this I simply used an Ace Bandage to wrap my hand after the bandage has been applied. Problem averted. To "wrap" this up, pun intended, This product deserved a great review. A little pricey, maybe, but putting the price head to head with the quality and result of these things, they're price point is in a great spot.

These dressings are easy to use and stay in place without peeling up. They’re gentle when removed and don’t cause irritation. We’ve been using them to cover and protect my brother’s sores, and they’ve helped the spots stay clean and heal while keeping the area comfortable. Great quality and value.

This product was very helpful with a bed sore. I was able to cut it to a smaller size. The adhesive was aggressive and once applied did not move but did leave a residue when removed. Be sure to clean the area well after using.

I hit the back of my hand with a brand new, very sharp grass sickle and took the skin off. There was no question of stitches as there was nothing to sew together. These did help it heal, but I did not realize that when changed, because they are really adhesive all over, they tend to pull of the granulated skin. Use with care on avulsed areas.

Excellent healing qualities

I have been using these because they are closer to the tone of my skin so they are less noticeable. I was using them for an underarm wound. It may be because i used them in an area that moves a lot but they don’t stick well (even when using skin protectant prior to application) and they aren’t comfortable to remove. It really only stayed on a few hours at most. If i need to use them on another part of my body, i will update my review.

Excellent bandages, they stay on through shower and have medicine in them so they keep a wound covered and sanitized so it heals much faster.
