Definitely recommended for women
Great at mopping up sweat, they don’t feel like a soggy mess even after big, long workout. Very comfortable fit, not sure if they might he a bit tight if you have thick wrists.

OK for the price for false economy overall as they don't last long
These were OK but they leak colour easily onto other clothes/grips and did not fair well in normal 40-degree laundry washes. If Velcro from grips gets onto them it pulls the fibres off a bit which causes them to degrade pretty fast. The "For:Time" and "Velites" branded ones were far better quality.

Brilliant
Being cotton they are breathable so allow sweat to evaporate. Very happy bunny.
