Great set! I like the 6 point sockets. Very complete, all the sizes I need. Everything is high quality. It includes a ratchet, a couple of extensions and a u-joint swivel. The ratchet holds the sockets nice and tight. You push a button to release. The reverse switch is firm enough that it won’t accidentally switch to reverse in use - I like that. It looks like the lid is removable so you can put the bottom of the box in your tool box as an organizer. I’ll carry my set in the truck in a tool bag with other tools - so I made a smaller box. Totally unnecessary, the box it came is fine, just big. Super happy with this set.

Great socket set. The price is good, the case is nice and secures the tools well, the way it is organized is very nice. I lost one out of my service truck and bought another the same day to replace it i liked it so much.

This was a gift for my nephew, and he thoroughly loves it. It was at a great value for the amount of tools that you’re getting. Plus, you get a nice carrying case that keeps them all in their spots.

Excellent tools at a great price

This is an interesting set with that great SK feel. Pretty comprehensive sizes in shallow and deep, standard, and metric. I inherited US made SK socket sets, have always loved them, and have never had any quality or breakage issues. High quality realistically priced tools that are literally good for generations. As an aside, my favorite breaker bar EVER of any brand (including All tool truck brands) is the SK 41656. A shameless promotion, but nothing compares to their beautiful deeply knurled handles, and exceptional quality US made breaker bars. About this 1/4 inch set: Made in China... I really did not appreciate this fact. Of all the foreign countries in the world that could make a less expensive tool, China is my very last choice! Not from a quality perspective, as the quality seems fine, but we should not be dealing with a communist country who does not share our ideologies, freedoms, and labor laws. Also - be clear where tools are actually made, as this strongly influences buying choices. Minus one star, and should be more, but the tool quality still seems good. A 216P ratchet works great. The internal 6 pawl mechanism gives you 216 actual positions (or teeth) so this is the finest tooth ratchet I have ever owned or seen. That is less than 1.7 degrees per click, which is amazing. The downside to such fine teeth and multiple pawls is increased back-drag. Not bad, but more than some large tooth ratches. The handle is also smooth, not knurled. I would have preferred knurled, but that is personal preference. If you want a knurled ratchet (but less teeth), buy the SK USA made set. Sockets have the high quality triple chrome plating we expect from SK, and I have seen no imperfections with any of them. Nice indented size stamping on sockets, and colored bands on the sockets to quickly identify standard vs. metric. Not sure now this paint will stand the test of time, but looks nice and is in an indented part of the socket, so should do fine. Socket to ratchet or extension fit is interesting. Not a full wobble, but has a slight wobble. They move a few degrees. I like it on extensions, but on a ratchet I am used to a solid connection, which I think I still prefer, but time will tell. The case is one of the reasons I bought this set. It is single sided (so sockets don't fly all over when you open it), had great (plastic) latches, and has a unique spring loaded hinge so that you can easily separate the top and bottom halves - should you want to place this set in a tool box drawer. However, the bottom half contains the latches, making it less tool box friendly, and the level of effort to get sockets out of this plastic blow molded box is relatively high (too high really). if you want portable set, this box is fine. If you want a tool box set, get SK's foam version instead of a plastic case. Lifetime warranty. Nice! However have never had an issue with a SK tool. Would I buy this set again? Yes! SK quality is great, and the tool look and feel is fantastic. However, in this price category, I might also look at other imports such as Gear Wrench (which I have never tried, but gets good reviews) which also make a nice single sided case, and are not made in China. However, if you like the idea of the 1.7 degree ratchet, SK is the only choice.
