Cheap and Defective Seems More Like a Pool Float
The quality of this product is nowhere near what is portrayed in the photographs and in the discription. It is not rigid enough to hold up a small child without giving. It was very flimsy and it had large rubber like seams that looked as if they would come apart after it was pumped up. It was also much thicker than described which made it look a bit goofy; definitely asthetically unpleasing or for lack of better words not cool. I would not have been seen with this at the beach with it. It looked much more like a toy than a surfboard. The pump was very cheaply made also and took a LOT of effort to get it pumped up. It was very stiff when not inflated and it was so cumbersome that it would be easier to have, and travel with, an actual surfboard. It also smelled so bad of plastic and epoxy chemicals that I could not have it in the house much less carry it in a car or on an airplane. It would have taken years for the smell to dissipate. It made everyone in the room sick and we had to put it outside until we could return it the next day. The ride was almost unbarable. Mu suspicions about it coming apart after being pumped up were proven to be justified. The first time I pumped it up, a large bubble developed at the rear fin. See the attached pictures. In the end, I had to pay $37 out of pocket to return it.
