Our glass topped halogen hob was looking a bit sorry for itself after 3 years, you know the scene. Burnt on water stains, a bit crusty, burners that look like they've got an advanced case of cataracts. Normal cleaners didn't seem to make a blinf bit of diffence, so when needing advice or assistance where does one go? Google of course. Some interesting natural 'remedies' cropped up, bicarbonate of soda and distilled vinegar, lemon juice and distilled vinegar (wierd) CIF etc, but then I came across a post on that well known font of all knowledge (and some complete drivel) MUMSNET. This post was about cleaning ceramic/glass hobe (of course) and all the above options were mentioned but, someone also mentioned this HG Hob cleaner. Now, I never even knew they did it but I can highly recommend thier bathroom grout cleaner and mould remover and stone tile/slate cleaner as they too are fantatic. So, I invested my £5.75 and awaited the arrival. When this stuff arrived I was straight at the hob (a quick perusal of the instructions first) 15 minutes later after a bit of elbow grease and a J-cloth the hob looks brand new! Clean, shiny and no cataracts for (in some places) the price of a pint!!! AND, It barely took any cleaner to do the job. This bottle will last years so no fslse economy there. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS!

I purchased this after previously using 'Hob Brite' and a razor blade to clean stubborn burnt on food from the cooking rings on our ceramic hob. Although this did a very good job it took time, so when I saw Amazon selling HG cleaning products (I knew this brand well as they were to supplied to us when I was in the catering trade) I immediately placed an order for the 'HG Ceramic Hob Thorough Cleaner' (they do a less heavy duty version for lighter hob stains - IE: daily use - search Amazon for this product number: B000IU40IA). In use: I will admit that I put a fair bit on as we were out of our previous cleaner so there were a few stubborn areas to clean on the cooking rings. I left the product on the hob for around 10 minutes then started to wipe the ceramic surface with a damp cloth and to my surprise the stains all lifted with ease. No more scraping with a razor blade! Another bonus was the product had a pleasant fragrance, not chemical like many others. I'm very pleased with this thorough hob cleaner and will be ordering HG's daily use version to keep on top of any future spills etc that burn on.

I was looking at products which would shift the marks on my induction hob. The reviews were really helpful so I went for the stronger version. I was amazed at how easily the marks came off. We couldn’t use anything that would scratch the surface so felt nothing would work - until we bought this. So pleased. I usually don’t leave reviews but wanted to thank all those who had.

Had some what looked like scuff marks on my glass induction hob, tried everything to get them off, read the reviews and ordered this product…I am so glad I did! Can’t see any marks now, they vanished as if by magic, if in doubt get some, the bottle will last ages as you only need a tiny amount.well worth it
