TERRO 2 oz Liquid Ant Killer ll T200(2Pack)

This is the only product I use for ants. They periodically show up in my kitchen, I'll put a couple drops of this on the provided cardboard squares, and within minutes the entire drop is ringed with ants, almost like petals on a tiny flower. It takes a day or two, but as they carry it back to their nest, it kills off the colony, and within two or three days I've gone from non-stop ants to zero for another year or more.

Now hear this!!! This is the ONLY stuff that will shut down your ant problems. Enough of the cutting plastic to invite them into the bait- straight out of the bottle just a couple of drops where the trail is coming from ( it is very thick clear liquid) and within about 8 hours the ants have vanished. They swarm to the drops, one ant tells another, and they go back wherever they come from and die. The bottle isn’t huge but just a couple drops is all it takes. I will always keep this handy because any ant trail I find I know this goes to work immediately. * be sure to keep it away from pets- I had to put some drops in an area where my cats frequent, and after I finished I put a large bowl over it for about a week.

Took care of our ant problem overnight. Terro works better than anything else we’ve tried.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have been using this product for years. The ants all gather around the liquid, take it back to their nest and POOF - gone! It does take a couple of days for them to disappear so beware that the ants will come out from everywhere!

This is an easy way to get rid of ants, but it doesn't work on all ants. I've found some ants that will not go near it. I heard that some ants are fruit eaters and others are meat eaters, so maybe the meat eating ones would rather eat a dead cockroach than drink poisonous sugar water. You can probably make your own borax-based ant poison for a lot cheaper, but these bottles are convenient and you only need a small amount to poison the queen and destroy the whole colony. Note that this can apparently turn yellow and stop working if it sits for too long, so you may need to get new bottles every few years.
