As an embroidery artist and pattern maker, I found "Step by Step Perspective Flowers" to be a perfect addition to my previous purchase of, "Flowers Made Easy." The detailed instructions and illustrations provided in the book are not only inspiring but also incredibly simple to follow. What I appreciated most about this book is it's clear step by step instructions on drawing with perspective but not over complicating the process. I highly recommend, "Step by Step Perspective Flowers" to anyone learning to draw or design their own floral patterns. This is a great way to learn the foundations for developing your own drawing style.

Nice book, great flowers. If you're wanting an actual work-book, that's a big feature here. The drawing pages are generous, and have a charming pattern to prevent bleed through which also might give you inspiration. I'm taking one star off because there's only one perspective for each flower- in fact, all the flowers present at basically the same perspective, which would be problematic if you, say, wanted to draw a bouquet. I do, actually want to draw a bouquet, and am really disappointed that a book on perspective did not teach me how to draw *different* perspectives. So, for my purposes this wasn't much more informative than YouTube videos. However, the examples are still useful as drills.

I have both of the other flower books by this author, as well as the ocean animals book. I have found these to be the best drawing books out there. The guides really help you to get the flowers/animals to look good. Each step is clear and makes sense. That brings me to this book. Once I saw that Aska had another flower book out, this one on perspective flowers, I knew I had to have it. A quick flip through shows a good level of difficulty, from beginner to intermediate, and plenty of flowers to choose from. I also love that the flowers are illustrated in color on the back cover. Perfect inspiration for using my watercolor pencils. I can’t wait to dive in.

Really happy I ordered the Step by Step Perspective Flowers book! Took a little time for myself and completed my first four flowers this evening. The guides simplified drawing the flowers and I actually like my drawings which is a first for me. I used a sketch book and drew the guides myself as I could not bear to write in the actual book...lol!

I always thought I sucked at drawing but these books have been really helpful. Im really happy with what I’ve been able to draw and I like to watercolor paint my flowers! I’ve got two of the books in this series and will definitely be ordering the third! So well done Aska Hall!

I've been making art for over 40 years. Sketching has always fascinated me. After suffering a stroke earlier this year, sketching has been a crucial part of my recovery. This book has given me confidence to expand my sketching adventures. Highly recommend to any beginner artist.

Very helpful, steps clear. I tried to sketch flowers for years, the book helped to get the drawing steps in the right order. I also appreciate the rating system that introduces flowers to draw from simple to more complex. So far, I have copied the pages so I have several practice sheets for each flower.

A very helpful and complete guide! I was surprised by how soft the cover is and I love it even more! All my favourite flowers are listed which is why I perchased it and I don't regret it ! 25 flowers in total, the explanations are very clear and easy to follow. I started drawing right away (picture 3) and I love the result! Can't wait to be able to draw bouquets 🌺🌸
