NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Slim Lip Pencil, Ever, 0.03 Ounce

I’ve tried a lot of lip liners over the years, but the NYX Slim Lip Pencil has really impressed me. The formula is creamy enough to glide on easily without tugging, yet firm enough to give clean, precise lines. It sharpens well and doesn’t break like some other budget-friendly pencils I’ve used. The shade range is excellent, there’s truly something for every lipstick in my collection. I use it both to outline and to fill in my lips, and it helps my lipstick stay put for hours with minimal touch-ups. Even on its own, it gives a nice matte finish that doesn’t feel drying. For the price point, the quality is outstanding. It performs just as well as some high-end liners I own, but at a fraction of the cost. If you’re looking for an affordable lip liner that delivers on performance, I highly recommend giving this one a try.

This pencil is creamy, smooth, and super pigmented, it glides on easily without pulling and gives great color payoff. I also love that it’s not sticky or waxy, and it has a nice medium thickness, not too thin and not overly chunky, so you can really control your lines. It doesn’t have any strong scent, which I appreciate, no weird chemical or perfumey smell. It also wears well throughout the day. I didn’t notice much smudging unless I was eating something oily, so I’d say it’s fairly smudge-resistant for a traditional pencil liner. The “Natural” shade, though, wasn’t what I expected based on the name and photo. It showed up a bit warmer and darker than I had in mind. Still a pretty shade, just not the subtle nude I thought I was getting. The pencil is standard size, easy to sharpen, and the quality feels solid overall, especially for the price. I’ll definitely try other shades in this formula, just with a closer eye on swatches.

Works well - soft, creamy, and easy to apply. Bought the nude, but it has some pink, when I wanted more beige. Blends well but not that long lasting.

Heads-up, they changed their formula and kept the pencil names.. everything is entirely more pink or red than you will be expecting- by ALOT. Doesn't match the color on the pencil or in the picture either, you won't even notice until you do a swatch or try to use it. Just really sucks all around.. I now have atleast 4 full pencils because I was buying them thinking it was me getting the wrong ones 🤦🏼‍♀️ I'm finally seeing other people post about the issue lol - Photos aren't doing this justice lol the club hopper is from their suede collection (smudges/wears off Immediately) this color is legitimately Purple lol Mauve is about as close as you're going to get when it comes to shade matching how it's advertised, but still not 10/10. Natural is pink.. just pink. Not shown here (I'll come back) is the highly discussed 'Ever' pencil that's basically powder pink now 🤦🏼‍♀️
