This faucet is a must have for any rain barrel. The water runs out so fast it fills my water can up in seconds. It comes with a gasket so it doesn’t leak when I installed it on my rain barrel and worked perfect!

These are cheap plastic faucets that I would never ever use for permanent installations. So why the 5 star rating? Because they are perfect for what I need them for. I have them mounted near the bottom of several rain barrels, where they do a great job of controlling the flow of water when I water our garden. In this application if they leak or fail (which they haven’t) it would be no big deal, as the water would simply flow into the gutter. So they’re perfect for me and my application. And if you are planning on using them for a similar application, they’d probably be perfect for you, as well.But these are cheap plastic faucets and mounting them in a house where failures could lead to catastrophic flooding, or outside where failure could result in a catastrophic water bill, than not so much.

For the price, this is a very nice well built valve added it to a normal trashcan for a water barrel and it works great valve is so easy to use and was easy to install

At first glance, it seemed pretty quality. But after installing it at the bottom of a 5 gallon bucket and then losing the entire 5 gallon bucket of water onto the floor within three hours from continuous drripping, I decided that it’s garbage. ReturnedUpdat, reluctantly ordered another one and it’s also ia dripper. Not quite as bad, but it does in fact drip also.

Valve is ok, does the job. It doesn't feel like it will last long though. We'll see.

This spring I will be adding rain barrels to water my raised beds. Last year my water bill went up a lot using house water and I’m trying to cut costs. This will work well for that purpose. Normally I use brass spigots on my hydroponic system and decided to try a plastic one for the barrel. Included is a rope so that you can fish the fitting to the outlet hole. None of the other spigots that I have purchased didn’t include a rope. So this is definitely a plus. Every thing is plastic including the ball valve. The ball valve moves freely which is a plus.
