Unsolved murder mystery game - Cold Case Files Investigation - CRYPTIC KILLERS - Detective Evidence & Crime File - individuals, date nights & party games- "Murder in Market Hill"

Super fun activity! I did it on Valentine's Day with my boyfriend. It took a couple hours but was honestly a fun thing to do that was stimulating the mind.

I was skeptical at first. I’m a HUFE FAN of a game series called “Unlock” and a series called “Sherlock,” and I was nervous that those games had ruined any possibility of a good new game series for me to start… MAN WAS I WRONG! What a fun idea! This game is a great single player or group game. The set up is really what brings it together. First showing up in an evidence bag!!!! Then everything inside the evidence folder looks (I assume) as if it were a real case file. Photos, mail, witness reports, police records, they really go all out. You can tell a lot of love and time was put into this game. There is a bit of an online aspect to it as well. If you get stuck, the hints are easy to use and well designed for the game. I liked this game so much I bought 4 more. For the price it’s not bad, and the game doesn’t get ruined after one play so I can share it with my family. (That’s my favorite part about a good game, sharing it.)

Wasn't sure how much fun this would be but now I am hooked. A great date night game that is challenging and engaging. Will definately be buying more for gifts, very affordable entertainment!

This is the third game I’m playing of theirs! I’m obsessed !! Got my husband roped in too. This was his second game. He’s loving it too!! This was tad bit on the difficult side. According to the game designer it’s a 5/5 difficulty. This gets your brain juices going!! Great great fun game! Loved it.

Loved the puzzle, code breaking, and new nuggets of double agency. Pulling the pieces for the final answer was a bit of a stretch, but enjoyed the time solving the murder!

Genuinely one of the better murder mystery games out there on the market. My sister's and I play a lot of these kinds of game and and either the stories are weird and don't line up with the murder that happened or there is mistranslation which makes it a little harder for you to figure out or the entire story is just trash. This story was engaging, a little challenging, but so worth it for the money. There's a website you can use and need to use to figure out what's happening and I don't think I've had so much fun playing a murder mystery until now. The creators did an amazing job with this one and I'll definitely be buying the others to play too. PS: -0.5 because there isn't a difficulty scale which, isn't necessary but I think it might help those who want an easier story than some of the others.

This was our 5th murder mystery with CK, and it was the most challenging yet. We really enjoyed that this one was split into two parts. Our prime suspects change based off of evidence accumulated, and its more realistic when you don't have all the evidence immediately. The games are a reasonable price and we get excited when they go on sale. We really enjoyed this one and can't wait to do another one.

LOVED this game. It was difficult to figure out so I followed — Co-op for Two — on You Tube. I could read along at my own pace, then tune into the group, then read more and tune in again. It was exciting and fun to compare my guesses to theirs. I would buy all the Cryptic Games.

Solved without the use of hints. Not for the beginner, Market Hill is intense and challenging, with many tiny details that of course matter. Nothing is as it seems, and much like real life, you have to sift through many red herrings and inconsequential facts and people. What a wonderful way to spend 5 hours. We did this very slowly and methodically, and it was so well laid out, with zero mistakes in the game itself which is such a pleasure and so refreshing. Thank you for the creators for such a masterpiece. I wish they showed the level of difficulty, as it is a 5 out of 5, and some people who never had done one of these may be overwhelmed.

I loved other games from this company but this one was nearly impossible!!!!!

This is the first time we have played one of these games and had great fun. Loved working through all the evidence, making notes and piecing it all together. We chose a 5 out of 5 difficulty and enjoyed the challenge - ended up using some of the hints as there was a twist at the end. All the information in the pack was helpful, well presented and added to creating the atmosphere for the game. It did take us longer than the 3 hours but pleased to say we caught the killer in the end. Looking forward to the next one!

Very challenging but a great game! We will definitely be purchasing more :)

This was so much fun, took us about 4-5 hours to do, had to use a hint by the end (it was late in the night!) but we were pretty much almost there. Definitely a challenge but very fun!
