The Learning Resources BrainBolt Boost is a great little electronic memory game that has proven to be a fun and engaging way to keep my six year old granddaughter away from her tablet. The ergonomics of this device are impressive, making it really easy to hold and play. Both the build quality and playability are good, providing plenty of entertainment. The device requires 3 AAA batteries (not included) and features a simple power on/off button and a sound mute option conveniently located on the top. With three memory boost levels—easy, medium, and hard—there's a suitable challenge for different skill levels. Interestingly, my granddaughter prefers the more challenging level. The BrainBolt Boost offers multiple modes, including Marathon (test how long you can play without making a mistake), Sound Duos (discover and match 10 different sounds randomly in each game), and Classic (each level adds a new lit tile to remember). Switching between modes is best done with the user-friendly manual, as guessing isn't very intuitive. Overall, this portable brain booster game is great for travels and has become a part of my granddaughter's playtime routine. I would recommended for anyone child looking to enhance memory skills in a fun and interactive way.

Bought this as basically a fidget for our teenage son. He still regularly uses it over a year later, especially for car rides and killing time or relaxing in his room.
