Really happy with this knife - it's extremely sharp and seems heavy-duty and well-made. I'll see how it holds up over time but my initial impression is very impressed - it feels great value for money.

Like many home cooks, I do like a sharp knife! This Nakiri knife has a beautifully finished blade of Damascus steel, with that noticeable zebra pattern and a tactile, ergonomic handle. Overall, a great addition to my expanding set off Paudin knives. Highly Recommend.

Very confusing item. Japanese knife made in China. "Knife is made of High carbon steel, the knife is sturdy and durable RUST PROOF" Then under caution " Please dry it after clean by water to avoid RUST" So which is it....Rust proof or prone to Rust??? Time will tell I guess, if after using water to wash it and it still Rusts, I will have to update review. BUT saying all that, it is packaged and presented to a high quality and the knife itself appears to be high quality. Also before you use it for the first time wash it thoroughly as it seems to have a red coating on it, that I assume is toxic.

Love this knife. Sharp and stylish. Use it all the time.
