I’ve used TENS machines before. They send electrical impulses to the muscles causing them to contract. This belt does the same thing, but with a little less targeted results. With the TENS machine, you can position the pads exactly where you want them, with the belt, they are positioned an optimal distance apart, but getting them exactly where you want them can be difficult. The advantage though, is that nothing has to “stick” to your skin. So if you have sensitive skin and the adhesive is an irritant, this might be a better solution for you. Now this belt promotes itself as a 3 in 1 device. There is the TENS function, but there is also the EMS which is supposed to stimulate the muscles like a workout, and help you tone or burn fat. To me, the sensation is the same. The muscles contract, probably for a little longer than with the TENS settings, but still the same reaction. Does it burn fat, or tone the muscles? I still have too much spare tire to tell, but I’m giving it a chance to see if using this, combined with diet and regular exercise will shave off some of the excess “rubber” around my middle. I work from home, so it’s easy for me to strap this on, sit at my desk, and go about my day while my gut muscles get a workout in. Depending on the intensity setting, it can be a little distracting, but I’ve managed to find a setting that’s not too intense or distracting. The belt is just the conduit. The controller is a little round knob that attaches to the center of the belt on two snap on connectors. This controller is easily removed, and I have accidentally knocked it off while wearing the belt, so be conscious of that possibility. When removed, the device can be plugged into any standard micro USB connector for charging. The indicator light turns red while charging and blue when complete. I drained mine and it took between 1-2 hours to recharge. Sizing of the belt. They tell you not to order if your waist is over a certain size. I am borderline, but my wife is not, so I ordered it anyway. I didn’t need to worry. It fits around me just fine, and there is an included expander connector for folks even larger than me. So unless you are significantly outside the parameters, this will likely still work for you. Overall, the belt is well made, it stretches to accommodate your shape and size, and I’ve had no issues with it so far.

Hate to give 1 Star, really do. But if it dies soon after purchase, then what else to do. Everything else is kind of immaterial.
