Perfect set for someone getting into stained glass. Some of my favorite tools to use. They function as stated and love the storage case to keep everything neat and tidy.

ARTIST/CRAFTER HERE: LOVE THIS SET! Bought this as I just got started in doing stained glass. Had been sharing some of a friends cutting tools to start off with... Love stained glass so I need my own. The tools are well made and solid like the old Sears craftsman tools in quality. It is a complete set with Nippers, oil glass cutter with 3 tips, oil dropper, 2 pliers, hex wrench, Phillips screw driver and glass etcher. I would recommend that they add to the set a straight glass cutter with a metal ball. The metal ball is very helpful for tapping the glass to start the break. It all comes in a zippered pouch which is nice in case you travel to a class or another friends studio. I would recommend this set

Well made case with sturdy set of tools. All pliers are well made. Only disappointment is the nippers, they are misaligned by the drilled hole in the casting. They are okay to use, but not precisely aligned to cut cane into Murrini with straight cuts. Great to have a different color of grips in a classroom setting, no doubt which tools are mine compared to all the blue handle tools.

This kit was a very good deal. They are a little bit on the heavy side, but a great price.

The first thing I noticed about this kit is that these tools are substantial. They are made of heavy duty materials unlike some of my old tools. The packaging is what attracted me to this kit. I like to have a place for everything and the case delivers. I immediately filled the scoring tool with oil and continued cutting some corelle plates to make jewelry. The cutting tool expels a lot of oil when scoring so in the future I will probably dip the cutter in oil instead of filling the handle. This is pretty standard for these tools. When I scored the plates and cut them I immediately had straighter, less jagged cuts compared to my old tools (see pictures). I attribute this to the running tool which applies even pressure to the plate. I am very pleased with this kit and expect to get a lot of miles from these tools. I do need to note that there is a tool included that I have no idea what it is for. I’m off to research now. Update: Google lens tells me that the mystery tool is a glass scorer. Also, I’ve had a chance to do some significant nipping with the nippers and they work very well. Much better than my last pair. They are working much better than the scoring tool as I’m upcycling a plate into gems for jewelry, so it’s cuts to non-flat surfaces. Updated photo attached. Last, I changed heads on the scoring tool and tightened the nut. The oil leakage has gone down significantly. To the point that I might actually use the oil reservoir vs the dip method. Bottom line: I really like this kit. Money well spent.

Nice set of glass cutting tools for a nonprofessional. It made the job very easy. I’ve cut a dozen windows out of some old glass and haven’t messed up very many. I would buy these again.

Never knew it was so easy to cut glass. I had a few pieces of glass I needed to cut for windows and this thing made it super easy. Now I just want to cut glass because I can.

I’m new to working with glass and wanted to start with a set of decent tools at a reasonable price. These fit the bill. I did need to research how to use them as I’d had no previous experience and found that positioning is really important for clean accurate cuts!
