Perfect lift for those who need help
This is a lifesaver. I only had it 2 days when I fell. This got me up, no problem. The remote is beyond easy to use, doesn’t take that long to lift you up, and I was able to do it myself. Easy to use and handy that it folds up so you can slide it under a bed or anywhere. Worth every penny.

Excellent chair lift.
I got this for my wife who has Parkinson's disease which makes it difficult to get in and out of the bath tub. It required a little assembly but was very easy to do. It works perfectly going up and down, even for a solid 200 pounder. Using it is a very good experience. I will update my review in a few months to report how it is going. I have not needed it this way yet, but it can also be used to get someone off the floor.

Works, but not exactly "light"!
I bought this as a precaution...an insurance policy of sorts. I have always worried that if my husband, who weighs over 200 pounds (I am 120 pounds) were to fall, I would not be able to lift him from the floor. If he was not injured, I would hate to bother the first responders just to help get him back on his feet. I think this chair will be perfect for this purpose...one of those things I hope I will never need, just like homeowners and auto insurance. We tried it out after it arrived, and my husband was able to scoot on to it and it lifted him with ease. The instructions say that you need to keep it charged because you cannot operate it while plugged in, so I have set a reminderon my calendar to charge it once a month. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because it is rather heavy, and if you have issues carrying a heavyish item, this will not work for you.

Genuine Chair Lift that does what the ad says.
The Electric Chair Lift works, easily. Our caregiver demonstrated by being the patient and it did what it was supposed to do. He weighs 180, slid onto the seat, button needs to be held the whole time it rises and walla, your up and onto your wheel chair, couch or bed. Too many calls to the Fire Dept, picking me up and my husband. Well made.

Not what it says
This item is totally misrepresented. It was not designed to lift from the floor but to help in and out of tub. You can not move it, As there are no wheels. Also the person must be able to sit up.

Everyone with a "physically challenged," person or relative in their household NEEDS THIS!
This is a godsend and an amazing device. I have used this to pick up my husband at least 4 times. The design is ingenious, it has an independent, rechargeable power unit that can be taken to the location of, the Chair. It has, on the side, low profile, smooth "flaps," that allow one to slide onto the a proper position on the chair to be electrically lifted to a sitting position high enough to make it easy to then rise to a standing position. (My husband had extreme vision problems and would lose his balance slipping down to the ground and both of us did not have the hand and arm strength to get him up to a sitting/standing position). This absolutely saved us from having to call relatives or friends for assistance. We have never used this in the bath but I can see that it would also be a godsend there also.
