this set is pretty sharp, so be aware. i had my blanket hoodie on and gripped it with that covering my hand. the comb quality is amazing, its sturdy, its the perfect size, it helped me in my darkest days.. aka helping me get a huge tangled mat ball out of my hair. usually i can get them out with a brush but i need this comb. and let me tell you it helped tremendously. the sharp pick to pull hair out, the comb part to get comb it all away. maybe its because my hands were slippery but the comfort depends on how you hold it.

These are very strong combs. Worked perfectly when I needed it to. Very easy to clean once I was finish I just rinse the comb with hot water. Easy to use just use it as a regular comb but be more careful because it has like a picking affect so it feel like the teeth are sharp and pulling your hair out but it actually picks the strand away from each other and unravel it

I purchased these combs once before and they are great my Sun uses them . He is known to break his combs and in fact did break the straight comb but the tail comb lasted till he lost it. I repurchased it again for him this time I got 2 sets.

We like that it is made of stainless steel, an important feature if you want to clean the product with any cleaning agent, or if you want to sanitize it. Stainless steel will also not impart any plastic components or plasticizer materials on your skin, which should be healthier in concept. But we recommend you also buy fine sand paper for metal surfaces, and sand it down well before you use it, because the comb's teeth are sharp enough that the comb cuts your hair while you are running it through your hair. We do not believe anyone wants a haircut while combing, so better sand it down well before use.

These combs are all metal and easy to clean. Scalp bacteria builds up on plastic, but not on these. Easy to clean, sturdy metal, comes with ease and should last a lifetime. I rated these with 4 stars, deducting 1 star only because the metals used these days are not the same quality as they were years ago.

Not stainless steel! Rusted the first time I used it. Waste of money!

Excellent buy for our standard poodle. Great for his coat and any tartles though they are few because of the combs.

I found out that metal combs are better to stop frizzing and so I bought these for my vintage dolls hair so I could try and repair them without causing more trauma to their already dry hair, so far I think it serves its purpose and I would perhaps use on my own hair if needed. Good quality and a good price so should last for many many years.
