Bought these for use at a baby shower where I wanted everything to be a specific color scheme, but didn’t want to spend a lot in case the guests decided to take them home with them. These worked great. All were of high quality. They wrote smoothly, and seemed to last a long time. All wrote black with the exception of one, which was a highlighter/marker. Great value for the money. I’ve bought this set twice now.

The ink glides so smoothly and dries quickly with no smearing, which is a must for me. They’re super comfortable to hold, even during long writing sessions, and the grip really makes a difference. All the pens are really cute. My only issue is out of all the ink pens, only 1 writes in pink. Pink markers are pretty. I just wish there was more pink writing ink pens

She’s been using this Four Candies set for her daily note-taking, and overall, she’s really impressed with the quality, though there are a few quirks worth mentioning if you're looking for a specific setup. ### **The "No-Smudge" Test** The biggest win here is the ink. She’s one of those people who hates even a tiny bit of ghosting or smearing. These pens dry almost instantly. She actually showed me by writing a sentence and immediately rubbing her finger over it—zero smudges. If you’re a lefty or just a fast writer, these are going to be your best friend. ### **The Standout Features** * **The "Trap Door" Highlighter:** This was a clever surprise. The highlighters have a little internal door that seals the tip when you retract them. It’s a great touch to keep them from drying out, which usually happens way too fast with retractable markers. * **Ergonomics:** A few of the pens in the pack feature a tri-grip barrel. My wife loved the feel of these specifically; they’re much more comfortable for long writing sessions than a standard round pen. (Just a heads-up: not every single pen in the 14-pack has this grip style). * **The Brown Ink Bonus:** The box says "12 black ink pens," but we actually found one hidden gem—one of the pens writes in a nice brown ink that matches the set’s aesthetic perfectly. It’s pretty flimsy and not really built for the "rugged" life of being tossed in and out of a bag. She isn't bothered by it since she has her own pencil pouch, but it’s something to keep in mind if you were hoping the packaging would double as a permanent holder. ### **Final Thoughts** For the price, the writing quality is top-tier. You're getting a smooth, fine-point experience that rivals some of the much more expensive Japanese brands. Despite the flimsy case and the low highlighter count, the "trap door" tech and the instant-dry ink make this a solid win for her office setup.
