I got this for my 12-year-old godson, who is autistic and really interested in learning chess, and he was super excited to receive it. He opened it immediately, and we’ve been using it to practice together whenever I visit. The cards make learning the basics fun and accessible, and it’s been a great way to spend quality time while encouraging his interest in chess.

I was looking for a simple card deck that I could use to learn different chess openers and other aspects of the game. I wanted to be able to pick a card out each day and study it. This fit the bill. The quality is great and I love all the information that's packed on to each card. I was surprised at how large the deck is and it's not a typical deck of playing cards in terms of size. Which is totally fine by me and I can see myself using this in our chess club. Personally, if there was a smaller deck available I would prefer the even smaller size. Honestly, I'm very happy with the quality and the thoughtful design and information on each of the cards. It's a nice change from thick chess books and great to have for bite size lessons.

This is a handy and informative chess deck. It does not provide much for advanced players, but the cards with openings are especially useful if studying something new or revisiting something old. My son loves them on car rides.

Easy to remember openings that you can leave right next to your PC

Almost like flash cards; they're numbered with step-by-step instructions to better one's chess game. I like that it gives opening for both white and black pieces, too; most material I've encountered only deal with the white pieces. Quick, clear, concise, and great quality for money. Recommended.
