Expensive compared to simular principles, but you only get what you pay for. Looks heavier then it actually is, neat easy assembly folds flat within the tray for easy storage..handy as not always in use. Purchased for DIY to clear gutters, clean windows & paint. Must not stand on the tray, but its a blessing,to retain tools and the shape ideal to overcome external corners and pipes and sturdiness with rubber blocks to avoid slipping ( still have someone at the bottom of the ladder !! ) and marking surfaces. Good delivery experience...yeah really pleased with it.

Does what it says on the tin. Lightweight but feels well made and sturdy.

Initially bought this to clear the gutters and repair a section that had come loose. I then discovered that the reason the guttering had come loose is because part of the brickwork and a tile had come loose and gone into the gutter. So, this has enabled me to safely inspect and repair guttering, brickwork and roof tiles on corners, over drainpipes and gutters without causing any damage. It's simple to put together and attach to a ladder and there's no way it's going to come off when you use your ladder because the springs and materials used are strong, even though it is lightweight. The extra stability and flexibility that it provides is worth the extra cost of this over other available options. I found it incredibly useful being able to place buckets, bricks, trowels and pointing tools on the aluminium surface. It makes high up jobs safer and quicker. The only thing you mustn't do with this is use it as a step, it's not designed to support a person's weight. Why four stars? Initially when this arrived, the nuts and bolts came in an open bag and some of the hardware was missing as it had fallen out somewhere in transit. This is something that could be easily avoided with a different packaging method and it delayed my job. I contacted the seller and they promptly and courteously sent out the parts that had gone missing.

superb bit of kit , it doubles up as both ladder stand off and a shelf to put tools on or paint pots on when working at height , saves a lot of time and effort , as everything is there to work with , wish i would have bought one years ago

Great asset to my ladder. Excellent when i needed to paint above my canopy as it made the correct angle of the ladder to do the job.
