Love the multifunctional uses for these, I appreciate the keychain attachment for my keys and they fit nicely alongside them. Durable so, no scuffs or scratches and they're very pretty on their own. One of those things I hope I don't ever have to use but I'm glad I have them.

It is small and compact and seems easy to use. I wish there was a way to test it, but don’t do what I did and try to push the black button. It works similar to a lancet and the button that is pushed into the window is where the spike comes out. I luckily didn’t push it hard before stopping to read the directions. Keep it away from children unless they are old enough to be trained to do it in an emergency. I cringe when I think about what could have happened to my thumb, but also I should have read the instructions before I messed with it. The only other concern is it seems difficult to get the blade cover off. I know that’s also a safety feature, but I couldn’t grab it well enough with my fingers. I will try putting the key ring on and seeing if the extra leverage helps. All in all it appears good quality, and I feel better having it if it’s ever needed.

This tool really works and is worth having in your car.

As a firefighter, everyone should have one of these in their vehicle. I have used these countless times in training and on scene as a responder and has yet to fail. Just the other day I came apon an accident and the one driver wasn't able to open his door, without a second thought I was able to quickly open the window and get eyes on the driver and continue care until emergency crews arrived. It is not a one time use item, it can be used again and again if it needs to be. The size is perfect to keep on your keys or on the head rest of your car, the colors make it easy to find, and the quick detached clip keeps it in place until you need it.

Does work on tempered glass. I tested it out on a brand new rv window (that are now made out of tempered glass) and it shattered the window so quick my hand went through the window with the rescue me device. I did test it out on windshield glass because it looked thicker than window glass. The rescue me device will not work on windshield glass. Well, not on the kind of windshield glass I tested it on. But it definitely worked on the tempered glass window I tested it on.

Let's hope I never need to use them. The plastic feels dense and high quality. Love the high vis. Instills confidence. I don't have a good place to strap it in the car... But that's my problem.
