Polycell Polyfilla Decorators Caulk, White 380ml Trade Cartridge

I have used this for a number of applications e.g. to fill cracked plasters, as a filler for skirting boards, as a filler for woods, etc. It is great and very easy to apply, but be careful it needs a gun with a bigger opening than the normal ones. You can paint it after an hour and it requires very little, if any, smoothing after application. The most interesting part is that unlike silicon fillers you can re use it over and over again, for a few days after you first started using it.

Normally I'd use the cheapest own brand caulk, ordered this and was pleasantly surprised. Easier to use, good adhesion and takes paint well.

Excellent caulk, but NOTE: it is a longer cartridge than will fit a ‘regular’ caulk gun. If you don’t have a longer gun, you have to use a bit and then cut off the bottom of the cartridge to get it to fit, or buy a new gun which is not ideal. Aside from that, the filler is great and made swift work of smoothing out the joins before painting on beading around sash windows.

This tube is valuable for filling up the cracks and small holes in walls and ceiling, flexible and dries good and and easy to use with an applicator. Price is reasonable

I got this on a recommendation from a painter/decorator. The only trouble I had with it is that the bigger than usual, 380ml tube did not fit my silicone 'gun'. It was just too long for my 10 inch appliance - I had to get a cheap 11 inch one and that worked really well. It made an easy job of running the caulk around the inside window trim against the emulsion. You can paint over this type of caulk which is great. The current price of £7.00 is fair, in my opinion, for the quality and amount you get.
