12mm Thick - Spring PU Foam Carpet Underlay - Good Quality - Cheap

Excellent product at a good price. I did raise the carpet grippers by 10mm to allow for the extra thickness. Read the advice to use scissors to cut with purple side up, using gaffer tape to seal joints. Layed down well with carpet down it affords a lovely cushion feel when walking on it. It also offers insulation and definitely muffles noises from the apartment below. Cannot recommend this product high enough.

My first order of this never arrived. However the company were very helpful and promptly refunded me. I then placed a second order which arrived within a day. I bought this to use as underlay in my garage, and for that it is fine. As with everything, you get what you pay for. This underlay is extremely good value for money, so don't expect it to be high quality. It is an ok product that is perfect for my needs, but not sure I would use it inside my house. Overall, great value for money and would highly recommend if you're are not worried about the quality and price is the most important.

Absolutely first class service, I hadn't ordered enough and when I placed a second order they sent it next day when I hadn't even requested it. That is customer Service at its best, thank you. The underlay itself is brilliant !! The carpet shop wanted to charge me four times more than I paid for this. It's heaven under foot and everyone comments about how soft my carpet is and how they just sink into it. It's luxury at economy price !!

Excellent thickness and a fraction of the price you would pay for the equivalent underlay in a carpet shop. The carpet fitters were very impressed and said it was the best in underlay they had fitted.

Used on a section of flooring with gaps between floorboard/hardboard and uneven joins. Uneven joins in floor much less noticeable now, noise from floor below deadened, carpet feels more luxurious. Easy to lay and cut. Be aware that if you order 10 metres as I did, it comes in 5 metre lengths. Mine arrived un damaged although packaging was torn and you could see what was inside and underlay is a mauve colour if that makes any difference to anyone.

I brought this underlay as a budget alternative to the more expensive Branded underlay that i brought for my main bedroom, I fitted this in my box room, considering i used the same carpet in both rooms, you can barely notice the difference between them, it feels nice and soft underfoot and i found it easy to cut and fit, only time will tell how it fares with the branded stuff.

This turned out to be a cheaper option for insulating our new shed/workshop. In use, the difference with having no insulation is mind-boggling. During the autumn we couldn't really use the workshop as it was cold and damp, so we decided to 'go for it' and insulate the whole thing, and what a difference. Even on the coldest days, the workshop was mild and dry without any heat - with heat it soon warmed up and was very comfortable indeed. I have left this review for several months as I didn't know how good it would be. The result, not so much a spend, but a brilliant investment.
