Looks and sound they got it all
I bought the KEF LSX II LT and KEF Kube 10b. They are being used in a small home office. I am really impressed with most aspects of the speakers. Pros -Easy to setup. -Easy to add the sub, with recommended settings. -Overall sound is beautiful. -So cool looking, at least for me. -Price, I chose these over the KEF LSX II and LS50 just because of price. Cons -The app or remote seemed to be the only way to adjust the volume when controlling music from a streaming service. However you control the music from within the streaming service app. -I am putting this as a con but for me it was actually a pro. The highs seem to be lacking in a way that I enjoy. For example I am huge Pink Floyd fan and the clocks at the start of Time and the voice in the Great gig in the sky were not as harsh as normal. It didn't feel like anything was lacking but that might just be because I didn't miss what was missing. I am not an audiophile, the last set of speakers I had that sounded pretty good were some Cerwin Vega at15s 35 years ago. I do have Sony xm5 buds and over ear, beats and other decent headphones. I can say that the KEF speakers brought back a love of music that I haven't had in a long time. There is just something about being able to feel the music that I love. I think the sub was a must for me. When I turn it off even at low volumes the difference is noticeable to me. I have been listening with friends and family as well and they do not notice it as much.

My search is over for the ultimate desktop speaker!
I tried several speakers on my desktop to connect with an Apple Mac Studio computer, mainly to listen to music and general purpose computer speakers. I have tried several others and this is the first speaker that has really impressed me with great sound quality, connectivity, and looks. I got the gray version which matches my office without making too much of a statement. The setup was relatively easy after downloading the KEF Connectivity App. I connected the speakers with a USB cable to play high res audio from Apple Music. I also picked up an SVS SB 2000 Pro Sub that compliments these speakers very nicely. I also picked up a set of Kanto S4 desktop speaker stands that fit perfectly including the mounting screw/hole on the bottom of the speaker.

Second speaker not working
Second speaker does not work!! Just arrived and set up per instructions and have been troubleshooting for a while. Either the cable doesn’t work or the second speaker is messed up. Bad quality control

Angelic Stereo Imaging and Sound
Wow these speakers are just lovely. Too start off they just look marvellous. I use them as desktop speakers. Sound imaging and clarity is just beautiful. Since I use them in a small room 12 square meters, they are pretty loud. Personally, I bought them for low volume listening which they do okay. You definitely need a subwoofer. I added a KEF Kube 10 ME and they sound phenomenal. I really enjoy listening to music with this system. the KEF connect app is a bit flaky sometimes but once setup you might never need to use it again.

Expected Sound Quality - Nits on the small details
As expected from KEF at this price range, the audio is top notch and that certainly will leave me with 5 stars and being happy. They work well as near-field desktop speakers which is how I am using them. That said, there are a number of small nitpicks that would not have changed my purchase but could have been better: - The graphite color is nothing like the rendered images from the product description. The color on the listing is a more warm gray and on the darker side. In reality the speakers are a much more neutral/cool gray. - On the tweeter there is a yellow ring that that is visible. - When using USB, upon waking up the speaker it sets the volume to 100% for a split-second before going back to the original set sound. Considering its audio that wakes the speaker up, its a little annoying. - Comes only with the power and the connecting USB C cable. No optical, no hdmi, no usb, etc. Not the end of the world and at this price point people are probably going to bring their own cables, but was interesting. - You must the app to set the speakers up, so they aren't really plug and play. For my use case I don't really care to use any of the wireless features.

Requires internet and location services
Sounds fine, Can not function when not connected to the internet. No purely wired or bluetooth mode Requires use of terrifyingly unsecure app+constant location services to use what should be a plug and play device. Reject and boycott all internet of things/ always online nonsense.

So much potential
I bought these to replace my sonos amp that didn't have bluetooth, but I needed HDMI arc as well. I had never owned KEF before and they sounded great in the best buy magnolia room, but in the end, I returned them. Pros: they can handle high volume, have a plethora of connections and the app is pretty good. It does require you to create a username and password though. Cons: one of the other reviews said it, but the sound seemed like it was hollow and coming from a tin can. Once you hear it for a while you get used to it and don't hear it anymore, but when I was testing the KEFs against my SVS and DefTech speakers, the tin can sound just kept reappearing. I also bought the KEF Q150s and they don't have that hollow sound as they are more pronounced on vocals and highs. The second thing was while you can spotify connect/air play to the speakers any time, you can only select one other input that turns them on. In my case I wanted both HDMI and bluetooth to do that, but i had to pick one. I set it on bluetooth and just as the app said, it didn't turn on when I turned on my TV. Overall it's unfortunate because CEC would have solved that problem and that means now every time i turned on my tv, i'd have to use the KEF remote or the app to turn the speakers on. In the end, at their price point, the hollow sound and input turn on limitations got to me. All that on top of being careful to hold them because they don't have grills. That part I don't understand because it's way too easy to touch the speaker cone and damage them.
