Smooth, Easy-to-Use Espresso That Tastes 90%+ Like a Café
I’ve been using the De’Longhi Classic Espresso Machine for about two weeks now, and I’m genuinely very happy with it. The biggest highlight for me is how easy and smooth it is to use. The filter/portafilter locks in effortlessly — unlike my previous Breville, which was so tight that it sometimes felt like two people were needed to secure it properly. From day one, this machine was very intuitive. I mainly use it for espresso (haven’t tried the milk frother yet), and it’s been consistently delivering great results. Once I adjusted the grind size to match my taste, the espresso started tasting 90% or better like what I get at my favorite coffee bar — and that’s using the same dark roast beans they use. It’s impressively close to café quality for a home machine. I also like how easy it is to adjust the volume for single or double shots. I increased mine slightly from the default single cup, and now it’s perfect for my preference. Overall, the ease of use, smooth operation, and quality of espresso make this a fantastic choice. I originally bought a Breville but had to return it due to a defect and found it difficult to use, so I switched to this De’Longhi — and I’m glad I did. Simple, reliable, and very satisfying. Love Italy. Highly recommended! 🇮🇹☕

Easy to use and great coffee
We’ve had this a few weeks now and it’s incredible. I gifted it to my boyfriend. Neither of us has espresso machine experience but it’s incredibly easy to figure out and use. I’ve even figured out the milk frother to make delicious cappuccinos. We’ve had zero issues. It’s easy to clean, great taste and temperature and perfect size for our coffee hutch. 10/10 get it!!!!!

Good quality for a low price
I’ve been using this espresso machine for a few months now, and it’s been a game-changer. It makes the perfect cup of coffee and has maintained its pristine appearance throughout. The quality of the brew is comparable to my sister’s $500 machine. It’s compact and fits comfortably on the counter, saving space. I was particularly impressed with the steamer in comparison to my previous Mr. Coffee espresso machine. It creates the perfect dry cappuccino. My only complaint is that the cleaning and maintenance instructions were unclear, so we had to do some additional research to properly care for the machine.

A Great Intermediate Espresso Machine!
Making great espresso drinks is definitely a journey with a learning curve. That said, I'm just getting started but knew what I wanted in a machine that I could grow in to and the De'Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus delivers. I'll jump into it: - Build Quality & Design: Sleek, sturdy, and doesn't take up much counter space at all. While some of the tools that you get in the box are on the cheaper side, the portafilter, baskets, tamper, and milk pitcher are solid and great to learn on. You can pull some good shots right out of the box that are as good and potentially better than what you'd get at a coffee shop. The machine is weighty, the buttons are crisp and tactile, and overall I do think this will last years to come with no issues. - Features: The thermoblock has you ready to go in about 30 seconds. Even quicker if you leave it on in standby mode. You can brew at 3 different temps to accommodate different roasts. While there are default settings for single and double shots, you're able to program the volume of water for each to have the coffee to water ratio of your liking (you'll need a good scale to get this right). The automatic milk frother works well, and I think serves its purpose for those who just want foam and aren't too worried about coffee shop level microfoam. That said, you can achieve a silky microfoam steaming manually, but I'm still working on it. The included double-walled baskets are best for pre-ground coffee that might not be as fresh because they do a good job at creating "crema". - Disclaimers: If you only plan on using pre-ground coffee, then you can certainly get by with what's in the box and not having to purchase extra accessories. If you want to use fresh, whole bean coffee and pull shots that have depth, different flavor profiles, actual crema, and compete with your favorite coffee shop, you'll need a good burr grinder and a scale to weigh out your beans and shots. That means spending more money, but can always be spaced out when you're ready to upgrade and take on the hobby. - Bottom Line: The De'Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus, while a bit pricey, has features that make brewing good espresso drinks easy, and great espresso drinks possible and the price can be justified for that reason. If you want to pick your own grinder, opt for this vs. the La Specialista. I'm happy with the purchase and look forward to many delicious drinks to come!

Total Expresso Newbie
I picked up the De’Longhi espresso machine during Black Friday as a total newbie, and I’m thrilled with my purchase. The price was excellent, and the reviews convinced me to give it a try. Before using it, I watched a few tutorial videos, looked through the recipes, and read the manual—definitely worth the time. For my first test, I used Lavazza Espresso Barista Gran Crema whole beans, ground on the finest setting. After rinsing and filling the water tank with distilled water (no leaks at all!), I ran the portafilter with the single-shot puck just to warm everything up. Then I switched to the double basket, stirred the grounds, tamped them, and locked the portafilter into place—it fit perfectly. When I started the shot, the espresso began pouring instantly with a beautiful CO₂ crema. Watching that rich, velvety expresso was so satisfying! Even the steamer performed like a gem, producing great results on the first try. Honestly, I didn’t expect my very first cup to turn out well… but it did. I have since made perfect expresso every day. This machine is truly perfect for beginners. It makes delicious espresso, looks great on the counter, and takes up no more space than a standard drip coffee maker. I’m delighted to own it and excited to keep learning the art of espresso. Highly recommended! ☕

This entry-level De’Longhi espresso machine is absolutely wonderful.
I only recently started exploring espresso at home. Before this, I bought another beginner machine from Amazon, but it was so disappointing that I ended up returning it. I realized that going with a reliable brand really makes a huge difference, and this De’Longhi machine proved that. The interface is simple and beginner-friendly, so it’s very easy to get the hang of. The adjustable steam wand is also incredibly convenient. After frothing milk, I can twist it off and clean the inside directly—it feels much easier and more hygienic than traditional steam wands. The portafilter fits perfectly with all my 51 mm accessories I purchased earlier, which was a big relief. My previous non-brand espresso machine had a water tank that constantly leaked, but the De’Longhi’s water tank is completely leak-free, so I can use it with confidence. I make two cups of coffee every morning back-to-back, and the machine handles it without overheating. Overall, it’s an excellent entry-level espresso maker—reliable, easy to use, and a huge upgrade from cheaper alternatives.

Impressive Machine!
I was excited for this machine! It's shiny, sturdy, and looks like I am a real barista! It comes snugly packaged and all pieces are easily spotted packaged separately. When setting it up myself, I just wish there were a more thorough explanation for the setup instructions with more photos and directions. I had to watch a few videos to get it going. The handle was quite hard to push to lock, so expect to use all your force. You might need a second hand at first. Once you get it going, the possibilities are endless! You could make two espressos at once! My favorite feature is the milk frother- I could not believe how fast it froths milk and cream- it works fantastically with whatever you choose to use. The buttons are super easy to use and choose your desired brew. I'm clumsy so I love the exchangeable drains to keep my counter clean! The final product is a delicious, luxurious, and purely customized cup of coffee!

Reliable Espresso Machine for Daily Coffee
This De’Longhi espresso machine is easy to use and works well for making espresso at home. The coffee comes out rich with good flavor, and the 15-bar pump provides consistent pressure. The milk frother is straightforward and does a decent job for lattes and cappuccinos. It heats up quickly and doesn’t take up too much counter space. Overall, it’s a solid machine for everyday home use.
