Update 1/2/2025: upon further observation, chloe can actually drink a decent amount of water with the muzzle on so it’s not as tight around her muzzle as I had originally thought. Still cannot pant well but if she is able to drink water then she is able to open her muzzle at least a little bit. So this is a better fit on her than I had first thought. Planning to buy another one after she wears this one out. Update 11/27/2024: I like this muzzle more and more so I upped from 4 stars to 5 stars. Chloe has not been able to get out of the muzzle (although she doesn’t try very hard) which is a huge plus. She loves to roll her face and muzzle in the dirt though and combine the dirt with her drool, the muzzle can stink lol I’ve had to spray it down after each use now even though I know water isn’t good for leather. Chloe also will rub her muzzle against the concrete pavers in my yard and the leather and rivets have held up well (just some minor wear). I use the muzzle on chloe about 1-2 times a day 3 days a week, so about 3-6 times a week. I anticipate with prolonged use I will have to buy another one though because Chloe is really hard on the muzzle. In the beginning I had thought she would not be able to drink water with it on but last week, she actually tried to drink water and I think she might have got some water into her mouth (although I highly doubt it was more than a sip). She’s also still able to eat treats that I slip to her through the muzzle. She isn’t able to pant very well in the muzzle but I only use for about an hour each use (with shaded areas in the yard to cool down) or even less time if I see her getting overheated. This muzzle is awesome and I haven’t found a better one that fits my needs. My only wish is that there was a version that has the same muzzle length but just slightly bigger diameter so that chloe can pant more effectively (the current muzzle length is perfect fit for chloe). Will definitely buy again! Update 9/18/2024: working well for short term use. Chloe seems comfortable in the muzzle and will even sleep with it on. She does dodge me every time she see the muzzle coming for her lol, but after a few dodges, she will let me put it on. She did initially try to take it off the first couple times we used it, but has since stopped trying (she has been muzzle trained for a while though so while it may be easy for her to stop pulling at it, it might take other dogs longer). I do see her tongue peek out a couple times but it definitely does not give her room to pant or drink water so I do still limit her time in the muzzle. All in all, I’ve still found use in the muzzle and am happy with the purchase. Oh! I also like the different sizing options for the strap that goes over the forehead and for the strap that goes around her skull. Both options help keep Chloe from escaping the muzzle easily if she tried again. 9/5/2024: Just got the muzzle today. Seems sturdy and I like the strap that goes over the forehead to connect to the coller. The only issue I have with it is the fit. It is too small for my 95lb female cane corso, Chloe. Her jowls are scrunched up in the muzzle, and there is no room for her to open her jaws to pant or drink water. That said, I do plan to keep this muzzle because I need a soft muzzle for when she plays with other dogs. Her metal basket leerburg one is great but hurts/hits other dogs when Chloe turns her head too fast. I could not find any soft muzzles (that are relatively escape proof and provided space for panting and drinking) that would fit Chloe. They were usually too long in muzzle which caused the muzzle to push up into her eyes. Since this one does not allow Chloe to pant or drink water, I will only use for short periods of play time. I dropped one star because the picture showed the muzzle would fit a cane corso but doesn’t (and chloe is on the smaller size for cane corsos). I would have dropped only half a star if allowed because the pictures did show measurements and those are spot on.

This is the perfect Hannibal Lecter meme, but cool looking muzzle for a dog. The build quality is great, never have to worry about safety, it’s adjustable and fits well, not too heavy, still allows them to breathe and even possibly drink water depending on your dogs snout. Functions as you would imagine great, no biting happening here. PS my dog doesn’t bite, but it’s in case we go somewhere and someone has a vicious dog. We don’t have to worry about him.

This is an adjustable size so it will fit . Most dogs. My Mabel was able to breath and play free at the dog park, with no worries.

The muzzle was delivered missing the buckle that connects the muzzel over the head.

Perfect fit for a short snout on a big 85-pound APBT. We have had many muzzles, and this is the best fit! Many others are for longer snout breads. It's a great basket muzzle with room to breathe, drink, and receive treats, and it keeps them well-behaved during walks.

It fits well. But, my dog can't take a treat or drink water with it on. Seems it may be too small for my Cane Corso now that she's an adult (2yrs old). It smushes her muzzle.

Bought this so my standard Pitt Bull could exercise (go on a walk) during the heat wave. She's not at all violent but she's a rescue and I've only had her 3 months. I wanted to make sure everyone would be 100% safe, including her. Unfortunately, there is not enough room for her to open her mouth to pant, thereby keeping her cool. I had to cut the walk short because she wasnt able to breathe properly. Very dangerous. Though advertised for a pit bull, this isn't designed for one.

Will not stay on they slide it off easily

Even though it has a Cane Corso as one of the breeds that this muzzle will fit, it does not. Unfortunately they don't take into account the amount of jowels a Cane Corso actually has. It would fit a puppy Corso, before the jowels drop.

Not even 2 months old and has 2 others he wears and this is destroyed. $50 for maybe a month worth of use! Not impressed
