Saved me having to throw away my trainers. Fit nicely and made a huge difference

I got these patches for my Converse because the heel had ripped and the boning at the back was digging into my heel. I removed the boning and applied these patches. The pack comes with 4 pairs, 4 small and 4 large patches. The holes in my shoes were quite big, and even the large patches seemed oversized. I’m not sure why such large patches are necessary, but they would be easy to cut down if needed, I guess. The smaller patches worked perfectly for covering the holes at the heels of my converse. Application was a little fiddly at first, but I got there on my first attempt. So far, they’ve adhered well, feel secure, and are very thin, so I don’t anticipate rubbing. The faux leather is soft, and aesthetically, they look much nicer than the damaged heels did. They will definitely stop the rubbing. I haven’t worn them extensively yet, so I can’t comment on long-term durability, but based on first impressions, this seems like a great value-for-money product. If they hold up, these are a really practical solution for repairing shoes instead of throwing them out.

Plenty in the pack to choose from depending on the size you want, but these are only sticky either, to each other, or your fingers. Tried them as toe guards, but they fell off shortly after sticking. Put them back in place then wore the shoes. Still in place when I took the shoes off after an hour, but the’d fell off again over-night. I’d have been better sticking them on the end of my toe nails. I’ll find another use for them, such as floor protectors, but as heel/toe guards… not up to the job.

Brilliant to put at the back of your shoes, where you have a hole and wearing the heels out abit. ‘I would advise to get a couple of packs on different sizes. Also I think they do them in black. Theses patches can make your shoes last longer.

I decided to try these on an old pair of trainers in case I make a mess of applying them (and because they had holes in the inner lining). It isn't immediately obvious how to attach the patches but I worked this out eventually. The real problem is that the adhesive so so strong that trying to get the patches in the right place is very tricky. Obviously, the plus point is that they should stick well. They address a need but maybe some useful hints about how to stick them in the right place would be helpful. I'll see how long these last and hope to add an update to the review after a while.

Use for my used down sneakers. They are very sticky and a great and cheap way to keep your runners or sneakers lot fresh for longer.

Sticks good and fixes what it promises, still on there after a week of intensive (festival) wearing!

wieder einmal gilt die Devise, "wer billig kauft kauft zweimal". Diese Reparaturpads halten nicht einmal eine Stunde im Schuh. Ich habe sie abends in den Schuh geklebt, Schuhe morgens angezogen und schon nach 30 min klebte mit der erste Pad an der Socke. Der zweite löste sich beim Schuh Ausziehen ab. Ich habe mir nun die teure Version (11 Euro für 2 Stück) gekauft und die kleben wesentlich besser.
