This is a simple and easy way to hold a lot of hats and not take up a bunch of space. I have about 30 hats on mine, and because they are divided into 4 groups, it is easy to find and access any single hat. I find it more useful than the brackets you need to screw into your wall, because for those you have to have open wall space and put holes in the wall.

I have a lot of baseball-style hats. Almost all come from unique circumstances, e.g., the World Series, etc., so they're special to me, but they rarely get worn. The problem is that they take up a lot of space, and they are hard to store. I was hopeful that this little gadget would solve the problem. It works great! It comes out of the package, unfolds, and is ready to use. I must have 12 hats on this thing, and there's room for many more. It also only takes up the space of a few hanging shirts. I recommend whole-heartedly.
