Are what I expected, and are perfect!!

We've had these deflectors for a year or so and they continue to stand up to the hard use in our floor vents. It's great to be able to have the heated air flow out along the floor in the winter and then push the cooled air up at the ceiling in the summer. And the deflector stay in place even when the dog steps on it. A good product and they don't look ugly.

Cheap and flimsy plastic but it works. Wouldn't try standing or putting weight on it.

These work well for what I intended — redirecting the airflow. However, they aren’t the easiest to open; you have to hold the top down while opening the other part. The material also feels pretty cheap. If you accidentally stepped on one, you’d likely fall through it compared to metal vent covers. Also, if you have small kids, they can easily pull them off the vent.

I purchased 4 sets of these so I have 8 vents in total. I have had these through the winter and summer of 2024 While the concept and functionality are fantastic the material quality is absolutely terrible, especially if you have a playful dog. Positives : to be able to flip up the diverging vent to push warm air across the floor in the winter and push down the vent in the summer to allow cold air to circulate. Without the need for those magnetic deflectors. They do look nice Functionality is great Saves heating bill Negative: durability is terrible the material is just thin plastic unfortunately I have had to take 5 of the 8 vents apart and plastic weld the seams because the connection tabs broke that hold the pull up grate on. If you have playful dogs in the house and they step on one slamming the deflection vent closed it’s almost guaranteed to break a tab for the pull up vent. However in the normal ( flat ) position I will say they are very strong. All in all I would gladly pay double if these were madly out of a stronger and thicker plastic or metal. However if you utilize the deflection vent in the winter to push warm air across the floor I did decrease my propane usage last winter so it does work. I’m giving this 3 stars because there’s much room for improvement as far as build quality goes. Do yourself a favor right from the start before you even install these buy some plastic weld and hit up the seams and tabs. The ones I did I haven’t had an issue with since. It just sucks you have to buy another product to fix the faults in this product.
