Best, easiest, most efficient dog brush ever. I have two large dogs with endlessly shedding undercoats. They actually enjoy this brush as it gently removes the loose hair. Cleaning it is as simple as two clicks and I am back to brushing. Recommend to everyone. Brushing just became so much easier

have an Aussie Doodle, and this brush has been a game changer. It removes so much excess hair while actually getting deep into his coat. It pulls out tangles and hidden knots without hurting him. After using it, his top coat is super smooth. My dog’s hair isn’t curly but is thick, and it does catch a small amount — nothing that hurts or makes him uncomfortable. The self-cleaning feature makes it easy to clear the brush and keep grooming quick. Overall, it’s gentle, effective, and makes grooming so much easier. Highly recommend for thick-coated dogs!

I bought this slicker brush for my Great Pyrenees puppy who has a long, thick white coat that tends to get matted. My vet recommended trying a slicker brush, so I decided to give this one a try. The brush works exactly as described and the self-cleaning feature is really convenient. It removes loose hair from the top coat and the button makes it easy to push the hair off the brush when you’re finished. The handle is comfortable to hold and it seems well made overall. That said, I’m not completely obsessed with it for my particular dog. When my puppy has thicker mats, it can be difficult to move the brush smoothly down her spine. It works best when her coat is already mostly detangled. For comparison, I’ve used the FURminator Short Hair Dog Deshedding Tool on our German Shepherd, and those results were more dramatic because that tool pulls a lot from the undercoat. From my understanding, this slicker brush mainly works on the top coat, so it doesn’t really get into the under layer the same way. Overall, I still think this is a good brush for regular grooming and keeping the top coat maintained. If your dog has a lot of heavy mats, though, you may need another grooming tool to help with deeper tangles.

Finally a user friendly brush. Not only is this the key to keeping the brush hair free because of its self cleaning capability, it is gentle on my pups. My miniature American Eskimos are high maintenance and they act like this brush is a major pet job rather than a grooming task. You can see from the picture how much hair is removed. Better than a firmanator without pulling. Picture also shows old brush that clogged and bristles recline verses thus brush with the easy clean function.

This brush works very well. We have used it for a while now and it really helps with our yellow lab. I do advise stroking your dogs fur slowly as it pulls out the loose hairs pretty effectively. Our dogs fur is kind of thick and as an added bonus, it captures ticks as I brush her after our trail walks.

My dog was shedding so bad and I was on a mission to get all of his undercoat off so he would quit shedding. I ordered this brush and it did a great job. The first day I used it I cleaned the brush probably 12 to 15 times since it got full of hair. I did it again the next day and got half as much out again. I have been consistently using this brush each day and the shedding has gotten considerably better. My short haired dog really enjoys getting brushed. The handle on the brush is designed very well and fits very comfortably in my hand. The bristles are firm, but also flexible enough to where it doesn’t hurt their skin. For reference of the coat thickness of the dog, I use it on is half boxer half black mouth cur.

Best cat brush ever! Not only does it yield a good amount of hair per brushing, it powers through long-haired tangles without upsetting my cat! Great for short hair cats too!
