Great light fixture if you can find the perfect bulb
This light fixture is exactly what I was looking for: sleek, simple, and modern. I have it hanging horizontally over my vanity mirror and it gives off enough light for my 5x8 bathroom. The hard part was finding the perfect bulb. I started with the GE Lighting 32287 LED Bright Stik 10-watt, 760 lumen light bulb with medium base in Daylight color. It was much too bright. It looked like a cheap fluorescent light. Then I tried the Satco S3899 120-volt 60-watt T10 medium base frosted light bulb. It put off a dull, very yellow light. Finally, I tried the GE Lighting 32282 LED Bright Stik 10-watt, 760-Lumen light bulb with Medium Base in Soft White color. This one puts off the perfect bright lighting that looks natural. Winner winner, chicken dinner!

Loveable
Bought two of these "used, like new" ($99) for lighting home office table from the wall and one more for another wall. Love the design. A bit on the expensive side for my cheap taste, only goes to showing how i like the design. I hope its not an infatuation with light sabres. These are the bulbs i use: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08DXDRS62. These are the brightest that will fit (i think0, they are quite long, so that more than 3/4 of each shade is lighted from the inside. 300K temperature felt best. 2700 was too warm for the office, anything than 3000 felt too cold (personal taste). Have not yet found a good smart dimmer for them though, so if you do not need it as bright, you may prefer lower wattage bulbs.

Beautiful Modern Design
We're changing out our lighting fixtures throughout the house in an effort to modernize. This light caught my eye, and I decided it'd be the perfect fixture for the part of the bathroom that has the tub, sink, and toilet. It feels like a quality fixture, has an elegant, modernistic beauty, and was easy to install. I really, really like the look. Bulbs did not come with the fixture. You will need two T10 60W bulbs. We had to go to two different large hardware stores before finding 40 W bulbs. No one had the 60 W bulbs. They were around $5.00 each. Also, one thing I don't like is that I can see the filament from the light bulb inside one side of the fixture. I'd prefer not to see it. All in all, though, I'm glad I bought it, and I'd definitely look at other Kovacs fixtures.

beautifully simplistic light kit
Very classy, beautifully simplistic light kit. Be sure to have "slender" type bulbs (incandescent) with a standard Edison style screw. You will definitely NOT fit a regular bulb into this fixture. Also be sure you have enough clearance to remove the diffusers in order to replace the bulbs, their removal is a requirement. The frosted glass diffusers do an excellent job of casting even light and the pictures just don't do this fixture any justice. It's also bigger than you might think. It's truly an elegant piece and can be mounted vertically or horizontally without issue.

Bought two and both are have blemishes.
What are the odds? I own this light (from years ago and from buying local). I have loved it. However, when I ordered and received two today 7.18.25 both brushed nickel parts have a blemish in the center. One has a scratch 3/4 of the way down and the other has pitting. Again, there's a blemish on each right in the center to always cast one's eyes on when at the bathroom sink (in my situation). Were these repacks? I doubt these "scars" are manufacturing defects or they would be the same marring on each.

quality, inexpensive sconce
We used this fixture in my old house as a single fixture in a small bathroom. It hung horizontally over the mirror and there was plenty of light. In our latest house we used 2ea of these Kovacs in each bathroom. The bathrooms are bigger and two fixtures are, again, plenty of light. In this case the fixtures are mounted vertically. This fixture works well both horizontally and vertically. I recommend it all the time and the architect we work with now uses is as a less-expensive, modern option.

Very elegant, gorgeous, well worth the price!
I bought two of these for placement on either side of my bathroom mirror as part of my bathroom remodel. They are stunning and worth every penny. While they are pictured next to my review box as sideways, I used them lengthwise. They are well made and they look gorgeous. When I needed to look for additional lighting, I wanted more of these but I didn't want to repeat them in other parts of my house. However I think they will look beautiful wherever you place them. I think they are a great value too!

Modern Sleek Looks but hardware don't line up easily
I have several of these in my house from an earlier build & wanted to get the black Saber version. Easy to put together conceptually esp. with establish junction box. However, Kovacs doesn't provide you with junction box screws to mount the light bracket so had to use my old fixture' screws. Then one side of the Kovac bracket does not align with my current junction box screw holes. Odd considering my house is using all modern to code boxes. So had to mount with one screw initially until I can figure out what to do. But one screw is plenty tight & sturdy to hold the glass diffusers & middle bracket. Second issue with the hardware is the outer middle housing does not line up very easy with the inner brackets 2 side mounting holes. So had to fidget a little more than necessary to get it to line up. Maybe mounting the inner bracket with one screw allowed me to align the outer housing bracket... meh... Here's hoping it doesn't fall down & break before I find a way to get a second screw in there to fasten it more securely!
