Works well in my Volvo S80 with AISIN TF-80 transmission.

The only fluid you should use for the Legend, 1st Gen TL, and 1st Gen RL transmissions. Used this fluid on my '98 TL and an '01 RL, absolutely perfect! Did full flushes on both and used this with an additive, feels way better than before.

What I expect from a quality product from a quality company which I've always used Castrol, but when it comes in oil filters and air filters I use fram they're the best but casual comes great when it comes to the transmission fluids and other products

Update: 2 years later, just did my 5th drain and fill (every other oil change) working fine fine. Unlike the Honda fluid, this one is not full synthetic, I drain and fill roughly every 15K miles, keeps my transmission in good shape. The flush and fill on the Pilot is extremely easy, I'd rather have fresh fluid every 15K than be replacing dirty fluid at 90K. I did my first drain & fill at 90K, the fluid was super dirty, drove 1K and replaced again (was still kinda dirty). Now when I replace, the fluid is usually in good condition. I expect the transmission to be worry free for a long time. Original review: Cheaper than Honda transmission fluid. Works nicely in my 2006 Honda Pilot's transmission, no difference in shifting.

I am using this specific brand and type of Castrol automatic transmission fluid for my 2005 Nissan Frontier 4.0l V-6 (120,000 miles and NO problems at all, like new). Come to find out from my Nissan Tech friend, this is the same oil the dealership buys in 55 gallon drums, and uses in there auto trans drain and refills. And I also found out that Castrol makes the trans fluid (this one) that goes into the Nissan labeled bottles sold at the dealership for $12 a quart (Matic-J). Per there website, this fluid is a direct replacement for Nissan Matic-J, Matic-D, and Matic-K trans fluids. FYI, you need 4.5 quarts for a drain and refill on a 2005 Nissan Frontier. If your Nissan uses Matic-S, I do not believe this fluid will work in your vehicle. You might contact Castrol directly before purchasing to verify the compatibility. I listed the differences between the two below: Nissan Matic-J (semi-synthetic automatic transmission fluid) this one is being phased out to only Matic-S Nissan Matic-S (fully-synthetic automatic transmission fluid) From what I was told by my Nissan Tech friend, if your owners manual states that your vehicle requires Matic-J fluid, then you can mix and use both Matic-J and Matic-S fluids in your transmission. BUT, if your owners manual states that your vehicle requires Matic-S fluid, then Matic-S fluid is the ONLY type of fluid that can be used in your transmission. Hope this help! Go Amazon!
