The Ultimate Scholarship Book 2025: Billions of Dollars in Scholarships, Grants and Prizes

This book is of extremely limited use, if at all, to Indian students. Also, scholarships offered by universities and colleges aren't listed, which should be the first go to.

I recently purchased this book about scholarships, and I'm very impressed with the information it provides. It's a comprehensive guide, covering various types of scholarships, from academic to need-based. The book offers clear and concise explanations of the application process, including tips on essays, recommendations, and deadlines. It also includes valuable advice on how to search for scholarships and avoid scams. The layout is easy to follow, and the examples are helpful. I found the book to be a great resource, offering practical guidance and insights that have been incredibly useful. It's well-organized, making it easy to navigate. I teach Economics and Personal Finance to seniors in a Houston area school district, the 3rd largest in the state. Every year I purchase this book and I inform my students that inside is a seemingly infinite treasure trove of scholarships and grants (mostly the former) for them to pursue. This book is an invaluable asset! There are so many scholarships in this book, and not only for typical colleges or universities. There are ones for trade schools, like welding or other such academic programs. This benefits those students who may instead be eyeing doing something like that instead of the traditional college route. Over the last several years I have had numerous students successfully find many different types of scholarships they never knew existed. There are many in this book of varying dollar amounts, too. One of my students got several different scholarship awards in the amount of $500 to $1000 each. Added up, she received almost $5000 in multiple, small scholarship awards. I emphasize this because I don't want students or parents to think this book is for typical scholarships that are partial or full tuition and amounting to the tens of thousands of dollars. Yes, those types are in the book, but so are THOUSANDS of smaller, even itty bitty ones. (There's a reason this book is some 3 inches thick!)
