For the price this awning is worth every penny. Pros: Wood grain look is very nice. The finish feels like it will hold up well. Canvas is good quality, not cheap feeling. Design is very pretty. Sturdy enough to add lights and a hanging fan which I'll be figuring out how to add later Cons: lots of allen screws, so might have to check them regularly to make sure they don't loosen over time. Need to have alot of patience when assembling. Directions are a little hard to follow. Awning is not super heavy so it will be super important to anchor properly and also close the shade during wind events. Overall for the money, I think this is worth every penny. It enhances our patio space beautifully and even if it only lasts a few years, I'll feel like we got our moneys worth.

Basically put it together myself. Looks like wood, works perfectly. It has transformed our backyard completely. We love it.

We bought this to provide much needed shade on a floating raft. It took much longer to put together because the instructions are so bad. They are pictures only, no words. Some sticky tags would have been very helpful. We put it together and took apart several times in order to get it right. We never did figure out where or how to install the magnet, but use bungee cords to keep the shade in place. The top fixed shade, couldn’t figure that out either, the holes in the top aren’t in the right place. The ends on the rods that go into the shade needed to be glued in because they were falling out. That being said, now that it is together, we get lots of compliments on it and are every happy with how it looks.

I am very happy with the product. It is exactly as I pictured in my mind and it is perfect for my small patio. The item came with a defective part. I sent an email to the company, as indicated in the invoice ([email protected]), and they immediately did their best to fix it. I could finish assembling the pergola on time for the outdoor celebration. Most of all, I would like emphasize the quick and accurate response from the customer service. Thank you.

The design is overall good, however, fitment is a challenge. It did assemble OK, (all pictures), no words or written instructions. The metal is thin aluminum. The plastic inserts for the canvas rod screws pop out the ends. The magnet supplied to hold the canvas open is too week. Slight breeze will release the canvas with the magnet supplied. I had to add extra magnets to make it stronger to hold open. I also added epoxy to the plastic inserts for the rod ends so they don't pop out. I ended up inadvertently installing the canvas backwards, noting afterwards that there is no pull strap on the moving end. Could have been a bit more clear in the instructions on that. I installed a pull rope to save the trouble of reversing the canvas. Overall it works and provides shade. The structure is not very ridged. It moves if you lean on the vertical poles. It could have used some 45 degree stiffeners on the corners to help with the racking. I have it secured to a cement patio with the provided cement anchors. We will see what an Arizona Summer heat and Monsoon storms do to it. Again, it is OK for the price, but if you are looking for a stout tough unit, this may not satisfy.

Purchased for our pool area and are very pleased with it! Installation went well with no issues. We wanted something that we could open and close as needed and this does the job very nicely.

This is a good purgola for the money. The instructions leave a lot to desire. There is no written directions, just drawings. I had to take sections apart and rebuild, were a few directions may have helped. Putting matching stickers were the parts fit together would have cut my build in half.

It's been a month since getting this, and I still recommend it, but read on: The cloth is great quality but lets water through slowly, and pools of water will pile on it and WILL bend the frame irreparably. You HAVE to fold it away from wind/rain. It's ONLY for sun shade. It makes a LOT of noise when it's windy, and it sags and collects water that just drips through the cloth slowly. Otherwise all materials are superb quality and I've had no problems with it.

Wanted a shade for over patio doors. And wanted the fixings to fix to the wall. Arrived on the day said. Well packed. On opening everything was covered in plastic to protect from scratching. Instructions were a bit vague at times but was not hard to work out. Fixings were well packed and there were extras. Took two of us as to put up as it was a lean to fixing. All the poles were really good quality and so were the other parts and fittings. Once fitted to the wall and put the shade on the runners we were really impressed. It slides open and hooks onto the holding disc at the end with ease. It looks great open and closed with the advantage of a strap that hold it in place secured with Velcro. There are eyelet drainage which look good and it has rained while it was open and these are really effective. Overall we so impressed we bought another one. To go over another patio door. We did reverse the centre pole as we wanted it to open and close the opposite way. Would recommend this product.

Absolutely useless! The wind demolished it in days, leaving the frame intact but bent. It needs stronger structure and some way to secure the cover when drawn back to protect it from the wind.

Fairly easy to assemble with 2 competent people. Looks good but the canopy clangs against the metal frame when breezy. Really noisy in stronger wind conditions. We added some padding and ties to the upright posts to muffle the noise.

Great item, easy to assemble, I managed it by myself but defo need 2 to erect. I've been thinking about getting one for years and recently bought a dog, so he will have some nice shade in the spring/summer. Highly recommended
