This is a brilliant Filter with UV, it's a quiet filter and you can clean it with easy, unlike some other UV sterilisers on the market ! The size isnt bulky, it's looks good in the tank with the rain bar, lovely soothing noise for me lol and you don't have to run 2 filters to do the same job ! Its really easy to use with the timer choosing how long you want the UV on for with a choice of different levels I have a very happy fish 🐟

Working Very Well Minimum Noise Level Excellent Product

Arrived with a shattered uv bulb housing glass everywhere after opening it. You could hear it rattling.Then the unit came apart too easily in my opinion and a terrible build quality.

Bought as the recent storm blew mine and the tank water needed to be purified more quickly. The filter is small but seems to be holding up well and with it being a UV unit more exposure is needed. It is really quiet in operation and the only noise given from those is if you chose to use the water spray (is that the correct word) to pump the water up and drop back into the tank. It can be used fully submerged as well if needed. The assembly of it is it or miss as the instructions are vague and useless but once you figure it out it works really well. I've noticed a massive difference in the water quality already as it's becoming more clearer after only 4 days of use.

We usually have the same pea soup problem when the sun hours increase and previously tried blacking out and chemicals but this year not affect so decided to try the uv light filter and.. pleasantly surprised. I first tried the lamp on 4 hrs on and off but to know affect increased to 24 hrs on/off and after a few days we started to see an improvement after about 5 days it took a further week to become completely clear. The filter is more powerful than our prevous filter so seeing an improvement all round really. It’s not pretty to look at and a little weighty and gaps so smaller fish may get stuck but overall I would recommend and for the price value for money however I don’t know how long the light will last or where to get replacements parts.
