Superzilla does what the description says and I recommend it to anyone for any project that has rust or stick fasteners, just spray, work it in and around & let it set. For metal threads, I recommend using a wire brush after letting it set to remove all grease and debris then spray the hole it was removed from for smooth re-threading and a easier removal the next time. I attached photos of a spark plug that had been stuck and cracked from a friend's attempt to replace them 4 years ago and are in the back of the motor and extremely difficult to reach and little room to fit tools. He told me he could not loosen them but didn't mention that he caused the top portion to break, the electrical connection end. I sprayed superzilla into a very small measuring cup and was able to reach behind the motor to be able to pour it in the hole with the rear hard to reach spark plugs and let the oak over night and was successful in removing them. You can see how the threads look wet from superzilla's ability to work its way past the cap of the bolt and attached washer a d allthe way down the threads to dissolve the rust and carbon build up and anything else that coated the thread to make them almost impossible to remove, I was pleasantly surprised how it took very little effort to loosen the plug after I tightened and loosened it a couple times to try to prevent it from breaking any further from excessive force. I also suggest tightening the nozzle after each use to prevent the product from escaping (walking) during storage. Effective, Works as described, Value for the money, No smell, Quality product.

Initially, I did not believe the hype. As a shade tree mechanic for my classic car, I was a doubter. This was not my first purchase of the product. It is fabulous, especially on neutralizing and even eliminating rust. I have tried the different delivery formats. The aerosol is nice but an expensive solution. The spray bottle has a two traditional choices for application. I have found that using it with Q-tips is very helpful on small detail items. I have also found applying to a micro fiber towel first and then using the towel on the desired surface. One application about Superzilla that I really liked is to use it in old plastic drink bottle with a cap or a wide mouth ceramic container for larger items to allow rusted, dirty parts soak. The clean up after soaking is remarkably easy. I would caution by testing a surface area before direct application. The liquid itself does leave residue so caution is suggested with use on potentially sensitive surfaces / materials. The product is, IMO, better than WD40.

Pros: it is great for a lot of things. Rust, grime, smoker grease (on rails that hold racks where it gets super sticky), gum in hair or on soles of shoes. Doesn’t smell like nasty chemicals. Removed gum from granddaughter’s hair easily. Req’d washing that spot after tho. Cons: I did use it to remove soap scum in an old tub. It cut the scum, but, it left an oily film that required removing. Dawn and vinegar solution took it off fairly easily with a scrubby sponge. Since the soap scum was kind of a trial at another person’s home, I was unaware of this issue, until I experienced it. It did remove yucky stuff from an ash tray that nothing else did. Spray & soak a bit.. Cleaned up rusty spots from tools. Buffed with a clean towel after. Fixed a squeaky door hinge (pulled pin, cleaned, and applied product with paper towel, replaced pin in hinge). Didn’t stink like WD40, which gives me a headache. Took road tar off my car. Since this is an oily based product, I wouldn’t recommend trying it on carpet, furniture or clothing, or on uppers of shoes (just soles for grease & gum). Or on wood. Recommend as a utility kind of spot treatment, loosen bolts, lubricant for hinges, etc. Better than WD40 in many ways, especially no fumes. Just be careful where you use it.

This product is absolutely amazing. It does everything as advertised. It has been problematic getting door hinges in your house to stop squeaking using greasy and oily products. Superzilla, with just a few easy sprays, stops the noise without discoloration. I've also used it to loosen stuck bolts and screws. Easy clean up and no mess.
