Very easy to use and takes the guesswork out of everything. Mainly got it to change some of the features like blinker length, and other misc items. Works like a charm.

Wow! It connected quick, recognized my GTI mk7, was able to unlock features and change just about any setting you would want, from lights inside and outside, to windows, alarm beep, rear gate, seat belt sensor, I mean the list is long and it adjusted or gave the ability to adjust if you wanted. Live data, to car history and mileage in case you think it’s been changed. Still checking and playing with it all. But wow! It’s worth it!

The Caristo EVO appears to be a very quality-made product. But, despite showing my 2016 Cadillac as a compatible vehicle, it only provided me with very basic diagnostic information even with a subscription. I will be returning it for that reason. Keep in mind, it's primarily designed for VW/Audi. I'd probably give the related app about 3 or 4 stars out of 5, because it was a little difficult at first to set up and purchase the subscription. After that it was easy to navigate. Connectivity between the app and the device was pretty flawless. Shipping was a little on the slow side, about a week.

My scanner arrived quickly. But that was the only good thing. I have a 2022 Toyota Tundra capstone and thought I could change more features on my truck then we're available. Anything I could change on the scanner I can change in the settings on my truck. That was the first disappointment. Second disappointment was when I did try to change a couple of different things It told me my scanner was defective. This was a complete waste of time and money. My main purpose was to shut the engine sound coming out of my stereo and that wasn't even an option. Within 30 minutes of opening and plugging into my truck I have initiated a return. I will not buy this again. I will not recommend this to anyone unless you want to see diagnostic information. Not worth the price of the product on top of the price of $15 a month for a subscription for the app.

Easy set up easy installL. Links to the vehicle, no problem and allows me to enable and disable certain settings . Does its job!

Overall I really like this scanner. It's easy to use and intuitive. I like that it connects via bluetooth to my phone. I purchased this primarily to make some changes to my car's hidden features. I used it to program Remote Window Down via Long Press of key fob button and a few other things. I was hoping to find even more hidden gem's in the car's software but sadly they're not available on my Camry. I feel the scanner is a bit on the expensive side but I'll have the ability to read any vehicle faults before heading to the dealership. What I don't like is having to pay a subscription fee to use the Vehicle Customization programming features. I did the basic one month fee but I feel that I've paid a high price for the hardware so these features should be built into the price.

La verdad es un buen equipo yo considero en una gama media eso si tienes que pagar una anualidad para tener acceso a todos los sistemas.

I’m very satisfied with Carista Evo. It arrived one day earlier than expected. Connects flawlessly with my car and operates like a charm. I tested it with some of our company’s cars also which are mostly from the VAG group - no issues. - it reads the errors, clears old records - works as a charm. I recommend it to anyone who wants to understand and take a better care for its car.

Me ha sorprendido lo rápido, fácil e intuitivo que es. Antes de comprar el Carista EVO, compre el OBDEleven, que si bien parecía que podía ofrecer más opciones de personalización y programación, la experiencia de usuario en la app me resultó bastante menos amigable y con muchas funciones en ingles que tienes que andar traduciendo si no dominas el ingles técnico. Además es mucho más lento y muy caro, ya que te obliga a pagar por todo. Aun comprando la versión Pro, pedía adquirir créditos tanto para poder activar, como para desactivar funciones. Con Carista EVO es mucho más económico, sencillo y está todo en perfecto castellano. De primeras el aparatito es infinitamente más rápido que todos los OBD que he probado. Solo con enchufarlo al puerto y poner el contacto, es capaz de encontrar el VIN del coche y conectarse automáticamente con él. Además va a toda velocidad chequeando cada módulo del coche. En mi Golf GTE es capaz de chequear las 23 unidades de control (ECUs) en menos de 10 segundos. Cuenta con un mes de suscripción premium para que puedas tocar todo si gastar un duro y sin restricciones. Activar y desactivar las funciones ocultas de tu coche, realizar el mantenimientos del coche (batería, frenos, aceite, avisos,...), mostrar los datos de sensores en tiempo real, etc. Pero además, cuando se te acaba el periodo de prueba, tiene la posibilidad de contratar Premium por 1 solo mes (9,99€), 1 trimestre (19,99€) o un año (49,99€), que para mí es perfecto. Yo lo uso poco, y con pagar 1 mes cuando lo necesite, me vale. Además, aunque no tengas el premium, siempre vas a poder chequear el estado del coche, los posibles fallos de las unidades de control y su historial. Para mí es el mejor OBD no profesional en cuanto a calidad-precio y facilidad de uso que recomiendo a cualquier que tenga un coche del grupo VAG, BMW, Toyota y otros compatibles.
