A former roommate had this exact set and I had to find them for myself. Most bowls similar to these are a bit too small or much too large, these will hold a big helping without worrying about spilling over. Some others are more conical instead of round, which is a nice shape too, but the curve of these makes them nice and deep. The patterns are the sort of thing that look good enough to break out for guests but also aren't so fancy you feel bad using them every day too. They also make great serving bowls, popcorn bowls, soup (obviously), pasta, salad, or pretty much anything else. They do fine in the microwave and dishwasher. They hold heat well, and stay cool when I fill them with fruit. The texture on the outside looks fancy and adds grip, which is good for a hot, heavy bowl of soup. I use these bowls just about every day!

I’m so impressed with these bowls! The 40 oz capacity is perfect for generous servings of ramen, pho, salads, or even hearty stews. What I love most is the durability. I’ve used them in the microwave and dishwasher with no issues at all, and they come out looking like new every time. The smooth glaze makes them super easy to clean, and they stack nicely in my cabinet, which is a big plus in a smaller kitchen. I just received these bowls today and they are absolutely beautiful. You can see how pretty they are from the outside and inside of the bowl. I added a 20 oz disposable bowl for reference on the size. I cannot wait to use these.

I ordered a set of these bowls in 2019 and just ordered a second set today. We use these bowls constantly for dinners: pasta, rice dishes, soups, salads, etc. They wash well in our dishwasher and look exactly as they did when they arrived 4.5 years ago. Very sturdy and the perfect size. Definitely would recommend!

Perfect set for chinese or spaghetti bowls. They are big enough to fit a good amount of food without a mess. I got the matching set of spoons so even better!

I bought these bowls because they looked like the prefect bowls for pho and ramen. They showed up and are really pretty! I love the size and the outside has a beautiful design that they didn’t have to include (and I hadn’t noticed in the pics) but it makes the bowls much more elegant looking in my opinion. I took off one star because when I unpacked them the bottom of one bowl has a misprint or the design has been scratched somehow and another bowl has scratches in it and what looks like a large bubble or dent line on the inside bottom. I wish they hadn’t shown up damaged because they really are pretty otherwise. -Shay
